This is my go to take out sushi lunch and dinner spot. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced.

Really tasty. Surroundings are super casual, but taste was great and stuff was friendly! I mean, just look at this chirashi...Free street or garage parking (2hrs).

Decided to check Cafe Sushi Garden out today because I really wanted sushi but I didn’t want to go far, so I walked over and I was very happy and satisfied I went! It’s a small and cozy space with a good variety of different sushi at a very reasonably price. The owner and sushi chef was very kind and friendly. Highly recommend and will be back.

I was staying in a nearby hotel, and stopped in for a quick dinner. The sushi was fresh and delicious. I got the salmon lover's plate, which was prepared excellently. The owner shared a few pieces of "something he was working on" which was delicious. The environment is a little on the basic side. Think "quick lunch spot" rather than "romantic dinner." I'll be going back!

I've eaten sushi from here many times and have to disagree with a couple of poor reviews. The fish IS fresh AND reasonably priced -- it's just not a date-night sushi place. If you need first class sushi at first class prices, go to Kusshi over in Pentagon Row. But the rolls in the refrigerated case here are a particularly good value, and yes, they are fresh and they beat Harris Teeter by miles. What are the downsides here? The variety of fish is fairly limited and the rice is a lower grade and doesn't seem to be vinegared. Still, you have to factor in the reasonable prices. Overall, it's a great workday lunch option.
