Rarely eat at chain restaurants but I'll be back at the CPK at Pentagon City. Food was very good, loved the cajun pasta. The service was excellent. Brie was attentive, friendly and accommodating.

As a veteran visiting California Pizza Kitchen for their Veterans Day appreciation offer, I was deeply impressed by what turned into a memorable dining experience that went far beyond a complimentary meal. The restaurant's atmosphere was welcoming from the moment we stepped in, with warm lighting and comfortable seating that set the stage for a lovely evening.

Our server, Gucci, truly elevated the entire experience. Her professionalism and genuine warmth stood out immediately - she struck that perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our meal. When we mentioned we were unfamiliar with the event's menu items, she provided thoughtful recommendations tailored to our preferences, demonstrating an impressive knowledge of the menu. We appreciate the additional pizza. Her timing was impeccable, checking on us just when we needed something, and she maintained a friendly, engaging presence throughout our visit.

The drinks menu was a pleasant surprise. Their craft cocktails were well-balanced and beautifully presented, and the wine selection offered some excellent pairings for our meals. We couldn't resist ending our meal on a sweet note, and the butter cake ampler dessert proved to be a highlight. Much different from the Applebee's visit earlier in the day!

What started as a simple visit to enjoy their Veterans Day offer turned into a memorable evening of exceptional service and delicious food. Gucci's outstanding service, combined with the quality of both food and drinks, has definitely earned CPK a spot on our regular dining rotation. It's refreshing to see a restaurant not only honor veterans but also deliver such a high-quality dining experience across the board.

I like the Cpk brand and their food. But the service at this location is absolutely terrible. The level of disinterest the staff shows is amazing . The location itself is nice.

This location is a whole joke! We cane in at 320pm. No staff/greeter at the front of the restaurant but yet a sign that reads PLEASE WAIT TO BE SEATED. We ordered drinks, she returned to say that they didn't have the ingredients ( weird because it's a seasonal drink on their specialty menu). We received our drinks...no water like the other tables. Ordered food...again only for her to come back and tell us that they don't have all of the ingredients to make the pizza that I ordered. Why are you even open? The waitress is so non chalant and could care LESS. She barely broke a smile and was not very personable! Only after our 3rd encounter did she finally get the manager, who advised that it was a supply issue. Supply issues are not patron issues. There are 4 other CPK'S on the area..are all affected? Or possibly location issue with keeping up with inventory? Ive never had this issue before...I'll stick to the Tysons location from now on.

I have come a full hour before closing on many Saturday nights. They always say they are extra short staffed that night and need to close earlier than usual despite hours indicated online. This time, the manager told us the kitchen closed in 20 minutes, only to additionally walk near us to stare at her watch impatiently without making eye contact when we took 10 minutes to order. Waitress alsowas rude from the get-go, beginning with, "what do you want?" before anything else, not even a greeting or smile or water. We obviously ordered within the timeframe the manager had indicated. One pizza was bare two inches from the crust edge so was almost like afghan flatbread with only the center being sauced and cheesed; for their pizza size being so small, this was atrocious. Nobody asked how the food was of course. The gluten free person, who has an allergy, obviously ordered GF crust, having to reiterate "not cauliflower but the actual GF certified crust." Previous times, this has been prepared in a separate area and brought out by a manager. This time, I didn't see where it was originally prepared but saw that it was brought right past the main pizza area where it sat, exposed, while the other pizza was topped. The diner got sick. Both pizzas could not have been cut more sloppily. Everything was done with zero care, kindness, quality, or consideration.

From the manager to the waitress to the food to the umpteenth early close, there is finally no reason to go back here. We tried. This location, at least at 10 (and multiple other times even at 9:30) on Saturday nights just absolutely sucks. Don't go.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust not prepared properly, sickening the person who ordered it

Great variety on menu and love the lunch duos, free bread, happy hour specials and reward program. The strawberry shortcake, pizzas and chicken piccata there are the best! Service was great too. Garage parking validation for 1 hour is too short though.

I always come to this restaurant and I’ve never had issues or problems with any server however on Sunday July 7th, I had a female waitress who was so sweet and polite and when I went to go give this young lady her tip I saw an altercation with what seemed to be her boss arguing with this waitress telling her she needs to find another job if she can’t hold a tray right & i was so in shocked to hear and see this - no one deserves to be treated like this in a work place. This lady who was verbal abusing her employees needs to be held accountable, talking to your employees in front of customers like this is NOT OKAY!

Save yourself the time and hassle and buy a gift card online and do not attempt to purchase in store. My dad is older and prefers physical cards but trying to get one was an ordeal. Staff apparently clueless and manager nowhere to be seen to assist with the purchase. Chef or kitchen manager appeared disinterested and told the server to go get someone else (another manager) who I presume was just sitting in the office. I wasn’t hanging around to find out more.

Unaware the store was closing at 9 instead of 10pm. Came all the way here by 9:30pm and they were closed despite being able to place an order online 15mins prior. Waste of time
