Food and service are great! This place has been here for a long time and is thankfully still surviving post-Covid. Of course it's not going to be traditional Mexican food as some might have stated, but it's much better than the Taco Bell! Give it a try!

I had lunch here today. This location has deteriorated in quality. There is a musty smell in the store which is noticeable when you enter.I order a burrito. The ingredients were not hot which causes me concern that the holding temperature of the meat is not high enough. Although this is quite convenient to my office, I do not foresee a return visit.

Below average tacos, and super slow. Dirty bathrooms, overall doesn't look like a clean place. We were three people and no one else at the restaurant- took 15 minutes to get food and it all came out serially. Do not recommend.

Please pick up your food from a different location. Don’t waste your money here.I just got my lunch from here since my usual location of L’Enfant Plaza was closed.Worst CalTort experience so far.I ordered a cal screaming bowl with extra chicken. Food was cold. Not just cold but in fact it tasted as if chicken has been prepared in the morning and it has aged to become hard and unable to be chewed. Tasteless, bland food.Also the extra chicken? I am kind of glad they didn’t put that in. (Or if they did than I will stick with my usual to go place which has decent portion size, even without extra meat)It was a really bad experience, and not worth it. Esp if you take 30 mins off from work just so you can enjoy your fav bowl

Horrible experience. I ordered online and picked up my order in the store. The pickup process was fine, but the food was below average. Tasted kind of stale. Definitely not fresh. It ordered guac in my burrito but there wasn't any. I called the restaurant immediately and said there wasn't any guac and I was met with a rude response telling me that there was. There wasn't. At least not that I could see or taste. I paid for something that I didn't get. I did get chips and guac as a side and the guac tasted state and store-bought. To top it off, my soda was flat and flavorless. A shame.

Ordered, and saw he brought chicken from the back of the kitchen. Chicken tasted rotten and horrible I spit it out, could not finish the bowl, ordered the chicken caesar bowl.

I have eaten at the California Tortilla in Bethesda and it's excellent so maybe it's just the Courthouse location that is absolutely gross. The chips were all stale, the guacamole was old and the canned cheese was so heavy on the nachos that we threw 90% away. Never again!

Don't ask for anything extra like a ... extra order form, lid to a burrito bowl, or try to pickup your child's food at the counter for them with out a major dose of free attitude. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Do not recommend... the 1 staff member is extremely rude with major attitude and snarky comments. The air conditioning either doesn't work or they don't use it. The food was also not very good.HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
