We had such a fantastic evening here! The pasta was incredible—fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor—and the desserts were just as memorable. The bartender clearly knows what they’re doing, crafting cocktails that were both fun and delicious. Taylor really went above and beyond, making the meal feel like an event rather than just dinner. The managers were on top of everything too, making sure the night ran smoothly without ever feeling intrusive. Honestly, everything about this place makes it feel like a special experience, not just a meal. We walked out already talking about the next time we’d come back. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, awesome drinks, and staff who genuinely care about your night, this is the place to go.

Our server, Caitlin, was excellent and knows the offerings inside and out. Made our reservation a week ago. This place is regularly booked so highly recommend reservations well in advance. We came in for lunch and got the Autunno Spritz, crab cakes, gnocchi, and tortelloni di Michael. Everything was delicious with distinction going to the tortelloni di Michael which was a unique and delicious dish…some of the best from scratch pasta I have tried.

Phenomenal Italian food, atmosphere and staff. Our reservation was made 2 months in advance so I recommend plan accordingly. We went with another couple and had the opportunity to try a bunch of things and at this moment I recommend all of them depending on your taste. For apps we had the Arrancini and the calamari, both were good and standard and the perfect amount of apps for 4 people. For Drinks: the Spritz straodinario (spellcheck) and it was really refereshing, the ladies had the espresso flight which was really goodnand theybliked the pistachio one the most. Other item was the Distinguished Gentleman and it was smokey but smooth and light at the same time. If you like whiskey and dont mind tequila, give it try its smoother than a mezcal. I tend to like the hearty style Italian foods so I went with the Osso bucco and it was the best I have had. Ive been to Italy (Rome and Venice) and it was the flavor plus the mushroom risotto veggie hash with au jus/ broth that made it. So good. Others ordered the carbonate tableside the Short rib tortolloni and the chicken parm with vodka sauce all of them were really really good. Definitely go and go as a small group so that you can try everything

What an amazing Italian restaurant. The food was excellent. My Chicken Parmigiana with rigatoni was delicious and perfectly cooked. The service was very good. Our waiter Hadi was attentive and knowledgeable. He gave us an overview of the menu and the night special. The atmosphere was perfect. Overall, our experience was amazing. We will definitely return to Carbonara.

Can’t say enough about this place!! Authentic, genuine, INCREDIBLE Italian food. Saba took care of me; I had 2 glasses of the Cabernet, the meatballs, the bucatini carbonara, and the tiramisu. The carbonara and the tiramisu came prepped tableside. Can’t stress enough, absolutely phenomenal! Everything was authentic, the meatballs were seasoned incredibly, the guanciale paired with the pasta beautifully, and the tiramisu was just legendary. The best tiramisu ive had in 26 years. It’s not too sweet, the sweet cream pairs with the lady fingers and the espresso harmonically.
15/10, please come here if you haven’t yet!

The best Italian food I've had in the DMV. I highly recommend the spicy rigatoni a la vodka. Taylor took great care of my girlfriend and I during our dinner. He had excellent recommendations about the menu. We will be coming back again. You will need recommendations to eat here cause they're so busy.
