Last weekend, I went to Carpool on Saturday evening. Despite the bar being crowded, the staff were so attentive and timely with their service. Mikey and Mel, in particular, were so kind and welcoming. I was even more impressed when I had an unfortunate encounter with a man named Thomas. Within moments of introducing himself, he told me about his trip to the bathroom, mentioning his "member." He then made comments about me looking "college aged" (I'm in my late 30s), called me a "pretty young lady," etc. Mikey diffused the situation with his quick wit and humor. Because of their attentive demeanor and the friendly atmosphere, I never felt unsafe, and had a fun night. Can't speak to the full menu, but the fried pickles were great ;)

Went here for a networking event. Ambience was great, a typical bar scene. I parked in the underground lot in the same building and took the elevator up. Easy to find and navigate.

I've been to this location twice now. I was SUPER bummed when the old location closed, so I was apprehensive about this one. Man, you all have delivered. The bartenders are so awesome - laid back but attentive, sociable, kind. And the wings are out of this world. I really enjoy coming to see you guys. I live in the Asheville, NC, area but I'll definitely come see y'all whenever I'm up in NoVA.
This was close to our hotel, I'm so glad we went. We ate (food was yummy) and we played pool. There was a good amount of ppl there at 430 on a Thursday and much more by the time we left at 630. Would definitely go again.
Vegetarian options: The salads were great.

Not the same as the old Carpool . . . but I'm happy they opened this location after closing the one on Fairfax. It's a low-key bar and they do have a little outdoor area. Not my first choice for a bar in Ballston, but sometimes I just want an average low-key bar, and this def gets the job done!

Came here on a Tuesday evening. Only a 5 minute walk from Metro. Bartender took our order quickly and efficiently. Food was pretty good. Lots of outdoor seating. Overall it was a good experience. Only issue for us is that it was incredibly loud and very difficult to carry on a conversation.
