Amazing Ice Cream
Overpriced
Mid
Waste of time
Ordered a Diet Coke float just to have it taste like sparkling water and ice cream, I asked for to have something else instead but nope. The old lady claimed “that’s how it’s supposed to taste”. I mean if u like sparkling water mixed with ice cream go for it. No refund or anything just made me throw that bullshit away. Honesty street water and piss. Cheesecake shake was good though but service, price, floats r not worth it.
Overpriced — ice cream cone with sprinkles was $10. Also, we ordered chicken fingers and they were raw when we bit into them
Make sure you get a receipt. I was overcharged on everything. I ordered small cups of ice cream and was charged for 3 large cups.
Awful. Stay away. Not the same brand. Also, their prices are astronomically high. The ice cream flavors are tasteless.
The service was friendly and fast but the ice cream was not creamy. To put this in perspective, I was on the hunt for something similar to Oberweis. This was absolutely not it. I think Baskin Robbins has better quality than this. Not to mention, I ordered 3 scoops of ice cream. I was given a large scoop of chocolate brownie, a large scoop of cookies and cream, and a baby sized scoop of cake batter ice cream. Definitely not returning. If you’re in the mood for ice cream try a real creamery.
Love this place! It’s pretty expensive for soft serve but it’s really good!

What a dump. Definitely not following franchise guidelines. Ice cream, favorings and toppings are not Carvel brand. The owners are using cheap quality ingredients.

I cannot recommend this place. The ice cream is good, but $15 for a small ice cream Sunday is outrageous. Their prices aren’t within the range of reasonable.

DELICIOUS ice cream!!! I cannot recommend the Peanut Butter Treasure enough! Chocolate ice cream with Reese’s bits in it. So good. The flavors they make are high quality.
You’re paying for it though with a bit pricey of a menu. They do give you a substantial amount for a small cup so that’s awesome.
Ice cream orders made within a minute and handed to you at the cute little counter they have.
Plenty of outdoor seating. The whole outdoor section had such cute decorations to make it a really great vibe to hang out with family or on a date.
Several parking spots as well was a nice plus!

I was excited to go to a Carvel location after seeing all the nondairy options advertised on the Carvel website. My friends and I were going for another friend's birthday. When we arrived we were informed that they didn’t carry any of the nondairy products that were advertised. They had a raspberry sorbet. The same generic sorbet everyone used to offer. Really disappointing. Might be time for them to update their website to disclose that they don’t actually carry any of these products. If you’re lactose intolerant, skip this place.

Such a disappointment and such an expense. I do not believe that the ice cream is made fresh daily there and unfortunately, the sprinkles were stale. The worst part where the prices for two medium ice creams it was about $24 ridiculous.

Atmosphere: Fantastic atmosphere and vibe to the place. Feels like you went back in time 40 years and they added an outdoor covered awning in the past couple years that really adds to the ambiance and keeps noise/elements out.
Food: Truly the best hot dog I’ve ever had. Everyone should try the hot dog on their next visit. Pizza was average. Fries were good, crispy, generous portion and well salted. Mango lemonade was incredible tasted like 80% pure mango nectar. The Philly cheesesteak wasn’t the best I’ve had but it was massive and quite good - like a 7.5/10.
Service: What inspired the review. The owner rang me up and asked me how I was doing gave me some history about the place, explained he was a delivery driver at carvel 31 years ago he eventually bought the place! To top it all off after our talk he gave me a cheese pizza on the house. Call it a bribe if you want but that’s how you build a loyal customer base imo!
Price: I do agree the prices are a bit absurd considering the atmosphere but I imagine the rent here is steep. It almost made this a 4 star review but considering prices of everything else these days, it’s not that outrageous.
Paid 35$ for everything before tip.

Great location to grab lunch and desert. Oprah’s first job. Tom carvel invented soft serve by accident in the past. A lot of history in his location. Has a classic vibe and a lot of options for food , deserts from pizza to hot dogs, burgers, shakes, ice cream , ice cream sandwiches , funnel cakes you name it. Outside seating.

The ice cream is good but $8 for a small soft serve ice cream is insane, even if it is a lot of ice cream. I can think of multiple places with homemade ice cream that don’t cost that much
