Workers were rude and ignored me.. couldn't understand what I was saying and food looked sparse and old.. first time at Cava and I was very very disappointed.

As a flight crew member I eat at cava often in the airport I’ve never had to leave a review about how I’m treated at any restaurant since I’m always in and out of places service can be hit nd miss but this experience was so horrific I couldn’t let it go. Not only was she rude and unwilling to accommodate she was condescending. After I asked for a bowl with rice I immediately noticed rice amount was barely covering the bottom when I asked if that was correct she said yes but I’ve never received a bowl in the past with one scoop of rice. Then she asked about my protein I asked for braised lamb and she didn’t give me mich so I said I’d pay extra she added a table spoon more and charged me 8.80 for it I was blown away. I don’t think I’ll be eating there atleast at the airport location again

I got the falafel bowl-it lacked the granular texture of a good falafel but my tooth with the temporary cap was nit in a mood to complain about that!
As for the toppings I wanted everything!!
Portions are good-it was a lot of food for one person and I could not finish the bowl
Sauce was good, I also got lemon tahini dressing and she was quite generous with it
Staff was super nice ❤️
They are in terminal 2 by the B 16 gate
I’d pick this again maybe with a different combo, but I’ll ask my dentist first lol

The food was great although they were out of lentils. The service was horrible at the cash register because the checkout lady tried to argue with me about veggies rather than explain how the menu selections work. I was still very nice to her when checking out. Not a pleasant experience. Cava usually is great at other locations.

I do not appreciate the register person. I do not like the initial assembly line order taker. Why work there but not want to communicate or be friendly or be present to care for the customers

I ordered the falafel bowl. It had 2 falafels (read online it’s supposed to be 6) and 0 pita chips. Really disappointing. Staff needs training.

CAVA is an absolutely favorite chain of ours, but this was a disappointing experience. The portion sizes were pitiful (we got only 2 falafel in a falafel bowl), they were out of multiple ingredients (their only base option was basmati rice), and the service was not particularly attentive.

For airport food, pretty good stuff. Lamb meatballs were fantastic. Just spicy enough to wake up ur palate. Lucky for Vegans and Vegetarians too: lots of healthy options. Very good option. Good balance of price, convenience, flavor, and health.

Bowl had barely any meat and when I asked for more they charged me an extra $8. Will be going elsewhere next time.
