They increased the price and they drastically reduced the portions.

I am usually a huge fan of CAVA but this location really tries to skimp as much as possible. The person who works there said this is just how they choose to do it. Wouldn’t have been worth the 13 dollars unless I reallly pushed them to give me the proper portion.

Very disappointed in this establishment!
Asked for a variety of veggies since I am a Vegetarian, they didn’t hardly cover the bottoms of the bowl, asked them for more, & they sprinkled a measley amount more in the bowl! They have raised the prices astronomically, while reducing the amount of food in the bowl!so very disappointed!
It’s a bowl……all I got is a half filled bowl for 15 bucks!

Service was pretty despicable. The ladies are always rude every time i order. I’m not sure why.

The lamb meatballs were burnt to a crisp. Chewing crunchy carbon with very little taste. They should throw away ruined food instead of serving to unsuspecting customers!

Prices are astronomically high compared to normal. I got a single bowl, no drink or bread, and it was nearly $20. That almost double what it normally costs. A bit annoying they have no seating to eat your food, too.

There are starving children in Syria who received more hummus under the rationing of the Assad regime than what was in my mezza bowl.

They are very stingy with their portions. I paid $20 for a half bowl and they gave everyone else a full bowl for less than $15. They should renew their staff.

First time visiting the new location in the C terminal was great, they spoke English and they put the proper amount of fixings on. This time it was staffed by the same unfriendly people that work the B location and they don’t understand what you want and put the tiniest amount in the bowl. I even got an extra order of the roasted vegetables and she barely scooped any on there.
Come on man!

This is is the worst Cava I have been to. They skimp on the serving size of meats other than chicken, and the bowls are half full, dressing is a light drizzle unless you request on the side and the people serving are not especially helpful. The pita chips were not hot and when I asked to wait for hot ones they said they would make more until the ones sitting there were done. Also, the server said we don’t have steak now while the man was slicing the steak behind her. Lastly, I could not scan my code for points because they don’t have a scanner. It does not represent the great Cava franchises I have visited elsewhere.

I used to really love Cava, but noticed a decline in service a few years ago and hardly go anymore. I travel in/out of DCA weekly and have seen this Cava location many times, but recently just stopped in. Service was terrible, so was the quality of the food! The guy scooping out the lettuce was stingy with it and wen I asked for a little more, he literally just gave me a few more pieces of lettuce. His dismissive attitude was unnecessary and ridiculous. He needs to find a new job if he doesn’t want to work there!
The quality of the entire bowl was not what I’ve previously gotten at other Cava locations. I’m done with this chain at this location. Definitely won’t be back.

They ran out of grilled chicken, feta cheese and one of their signature bowls. Understandable but they only told me this once I had already ordered.

I was honestly super excited to see a CAVA right next to my gate as I had recently moved to a place that didn’t have any nearby to go to. I walked up to the counter since there were no other people in line and the three CAVA employees were chatting amongst themselves, which I didn’t mind until I was standing there for quite sometime not being helped. After about a minute and after their conversation was over, one of the employees came to help get my order started. Not sure if CAVA changed their portion sizes but it definitely smaller than I remembered. I got a falafel greens and grain bowl and unfortunately the falafel was dry and tasted off to me. The yogurt dill sauce saved it in my opinion so at least that.
