I should have taken pictures! Everything was so delicious. I got the whole grilled chicken with dirty rice, chickpeas, tomato & cucumber salad and pickled onions and naan. Everything was fresh & extremely flavorful. The seasonings, WOW! My boyfriend had the chili dumplings OMG that are a MUST TRY! Can't wait to go back to try different things on the menu. We need places like this on the Pike. I hope it is here for awhile... Support small businesses!

I found out about the original Charga from the local publications raving about them. But it took me a bit to finally try it, albeit the one on Columbia Pike. Food was great, owner was AWESOME, and price was way more reasonable than I was expecting. I couldn’t more highly recommend this place. Check out their combo specials!!

Ordered the chopped cheese, wings with mambo sauce and chicken charga. Everything was delicious especially the wings. The mambo sauce here is definitely the best in VA and giving anything in the city a run for its money.

Their spicy fries are excellent. The chick peas and the butter chicken are very rich and tasty. The curry chicken is spiced very well, more of thinner sauce though than a thick curry. The chicken sandwich is huge. The best for me has been the burger, with the jalapeños and the cheese, it’s pretty incredible with the drink and fries included for only $7. Phenomenal taste and price, which is what I can say about this place overall. And the pretty young woman with the hijab taking orders cant be any more nice… she gave complimentary samples and was super helpful. Highly recommend this place.

The fries were fresh and well seasoned with old bay. I’ll be back for sure. They offer alot of Indian styled foods. My meal took less than 15 minutes to prepare.

I always have a wonderful experience here! The food is amazing very high quality and carefully packaged! Very cheap and generous portions! I stop by midday for the cheap and generous lunch deals. I order huge pick ups for family reunion dinners! You must try the samosas, Momos, Lamb Kabob, Ribeye Kabob, Chicken Tikka Masala and definately the Mango Lassi!
