Circa at Clarendon completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special, thanks in large part to Andrew, the manager, whose personal touch and genuine hospitality made the evening even better. We started with the Wagyu beef hummus and Brussels sprouts, and both appetizers were outstanding rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, we chose the braised short ribs, which were incredibly tender and packed with deep, comforting flavor. The cocktails were just as memorable. The Maple Old Fashioned was smooth and well-balanced, while the Blackberry Margarita was refreshing with the perfect hint of sweetness. To finish, we shared the brioche bread pudding, and wow. It was phenomenal and truly the best way to end a perfect dinner. Amazing food, great cocktails, and exceptional service. Circa is a must-visit, and Andrew's attention to detail made the night unforgettable. We'll definitely be back.

We had lunch and ordered from the Restaurant Week menu. The Shrimp Bisque was too salty. Other dishes were pretty good. Our waitress did not seem to be in a good mood. No smiles. Short one-two word responses. Hope she feels better and treat others better.

Delicious food and good service, with a lively ambiance. Prices were reasonable for the area.

Excellent from start to finish. We had an excellent server and the food was awesome and cooked perfectly! Love it here!

Good food, nice variety to appeal to many tastes. We also appreciated the "No gluten, no problem" menu for the person in our party with a gluten sensitivity. Service was attentive.

Food was nicely prepared but nothing outstanding. The restaurant had a bit of a drab atmosphere. However, I imagine the outside seating would be lovely when the weather is warm. Our servers we pleasant and attentive.

Food was very tasty, however the portion sizes were not comparable to what you pay for. The noise was very loud in there but that's expected I guess!

start with the good: the calamari and shrimp appetizers were absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, full of flavor, and super crispy — truly a highlight. It was a slower Sunday, so I'm not sure why the service moved so slowly. Our drinks and appetizers took quite a while, and there was a shift change that caused our appetizers to be missed altogether (they did end up comping them, which we appreciated). For lunch, I had the steak salad, my daughter ordered the steak and fries (medium rare), and my son-in-law had the margherita pizza. All three dishes were really yummy. I'll definitely come back for the steak salad — it was that good. The only downside was the pacing. With only about two other tables seated, it was surprising that service was still that slow. But overall, the food was delicious, and that's a big plus.

Circa is bumping almost everyday I call in or I walk past because of 2 things; they do a happy hour that’s terrific value and they do great food. You get me in for the $5 drafts, you keep me with the super tasty flat breads. Don’t sleep on the rest of the menu though, the Short Rib in particular is exceptional. This is a rare place that strikes a really good balance between price and quality and the fact it’s regularly as busy as it is shows that.

We are indoors as the weather was cool, but the restaurant has a warm, inviting ambience that makes for a pleasant dining experience. The food was delicious and well-presented, and the service was attentive.

One of my favorite restaurants in Arlington! The food is consistently amazing, some of my go-to dishes are the hummus appetizer, jambalaya, and Thai shrimp salad. The flavors are fresh and well-balanced, and the menu offers something for everyone.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. The staff are always kind, respectful, and attentive, which makes every visit feel welcoming. They’re especially great if you have any allergies or dietary concerns, they take it seriously and go out of their way to accommodate.
Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a spot that delivers on both taste and service.
