They had multiple nitro cold brews on tap they they let you sample. I went with the Tidewater Sunrise, which is labeled as Medium-light roast, fruity and floral. I definitely agree with their description and I’m glad I was able to sample them to choose which I liked best!

Really cool atmosphere, they even sell the coffee by the bag. I love a great local coffee shop, especially when they also roast their own beans.

Crazy to think that people are still going to the other coffee chain up the block when a better experience is just a few steps away.

Hi, I just wanted to share some feedback.
I really love this coffee shop — I always get my matcha latte here and it’s been one of my favorite spots for a while. But today, the service wasn’t great, and the matcha latte I got tasted off. It seemed like it was mostly 2% milk with barely any matcha, and the flavor just wasn’t right.

I normally wouldn’t say anything, but I paid around $8 for a drink I couldn’t even finish. I really hope this was just a one-time thing, because I’d hate to lose this place as one of my go-to cafés.

A small yet unique and efficient little coffee shop with solid specials to choose from and a staff that gets the job done. They had a very solid cold brew.

I love the coffee, and been a customer for a while. But my last purchase (5lb) skyline overlook was definitely not what I used to drink. When the time I was taking the bag to buy, it was warm, noticing it was in direct sunlight. I would suggest you guys to move coffees to avoid direct sunlight. My coffee now tastes abnormal, burnt, or like roasted few years ago.

Such a great spot! The decor is fresh, unique, and super cozy. Fair warning—it’s a little chilly inside, so bring a jacket if you’re not a fan of cooler spaces (personally, I loved it!). The coffee was delicious—I tried the cookie butter iced latte and you could really taste the cookie butter in every sip. 10/10 recommend!

Honestly, Commonwealth Joe is the only reason RTO doesn’t make one cry. The coffee, the service, and the ambience are immaculate. It’s the little luxury that makes showing up worth it. Bless this place.

The food is super limited but what they do have is always tasty. Great customer service, order comes out pretty quickly. They have creative menu items and the seasonal stuff is always fun and unique! Love that they change up the atmosphere/decor each season, too. Makes for a fun treat to see they’ve revamped with the changing weather!

I absolutely love Commonwealth Joe in Pentagon City. Their matcha was my favorite and I loved their chocolate croissants from Fresh Baguette! The staff is very friendly and remembers the regulars that come in. It is a pretty small cafe and a limited number of seats have outlets so come with your devices charged. My absolute favorite part was visiting each season to see the new painting on the window and decorations inside.

Bought two cups of coffee today and one croissant + apple danish.
The pastries were stale (how is this possible for a 4$ croissant?!) and the coffee spilled all over me as the lid isn’t efficient. This is the second time it is happening to me. I expect better when I pay 18$!

I got a nitro. The lady taking orders was rude and made me feel uncomfortable while rushing me. Atrocious. Also, I asked what flavor of nitro people usually liked and gave a standoffish comment. Great coffee, but customer service is atrocious

The coffee cups at this place are a joke. The to go hot coffee cup literally collapsed it was so flimsy. Ruined my entire day with coffee running all over my leg. Really the worst hot coffee cup I have ever seen.
