Places like this are fewer and further between in a world captivated by the inexorable logic of corporate acquisition, and the attendant replacement of everything unique, funky, and fresh in favor of bland, copy-pasted sterility. Come expecting good food, friendly service, and austere decor that reflects a down-to-earth, honest ethos that sadly is hard to find nowadays. The groceries cater primarily to the folks who live in the building and need a convenient snack or something for the medicine cabinet, and the food gives major 90s deli vibes. Highly recommend if that sounds like your bag.

This is not a deli. This a very poorly stocked convenience store that serves mediocre sandwiches. They also do not serve fresh salads as advertised. Very disappointing.

The food is delicious, hot, and fresh. The deal is the specials they are really great but order a sandwich for lunch the next day. Prices are great for what you get.

Excellent. The deli’s menu is phenomenal. It includes all international cuisines. The store offers homemade salads, main course dishes, desserts. All freshly cooked and baked by the owners and their family . The service and ambience are exceptional . You can find the authentic products such as pickled tomatoes and marinated herring there as well . A total gem. Velyura (the owner) is a wonderful hostess and a cook , approachable and always there . Don (the owner) is a renowned chef. Highly recommend.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarians has plenty of options including authentic Baltic cuisine.

$7 for an ice cream sandwich and (probably expired) cookie sandwich. Rather drive over to 7/11 instead. Wouldn’t recommend.Update to the owners response:1) I literally mentioned two products in my review. Learn the products you sell.2) I put my statement in parenthesis- There wasn’t an expiration date on the red package, but sure tasted unpleasant. Please post a picture of where the expiration date is since this happened recently. Should he the same batch.3) I will drive to 7-11.4) I’m not hiding and this is a phone screen. My single initial has nothing to do with anything. Slander vs. stating an opinion are two different things.

Since my former favorite deli closed, I was excited to try this place out! I went today at 7:15 to get a sandwich after work as the hours say it is open til 8, however apparently the deli closed at 7. The convenience part was still open. I am sure it is delicious and I look forward to trying it, but FYI for anyone wanting a sandwich, go before 7pm!

Absolute diamond of a place! Don and Vilyura run a warm, delicious operation with awesome imported sweets and goods as well as killer sandwiches and baked items. Go to for breakfast, lunch, catered occasions. Davlatov's catered a two day event of 20 people for me flawlessly! Don and Vilyura go above and beyond. As well as affordable prices:)

Huge selection of Baltic foods, beverages, and great takeout. Good convenience store as well.

A true gem in Arlington. Like an Easter egg hunt, Davlatov's is nicely tucked at a condo where you can't see it easily. The desserts are awesome, the daily specials are wonderful and the sandwiches would make any New Yorker happy. Made to order so prepare for the wait. Best to pre-order. A true delight!
