“I had a mixed experience at Dumpling District. The chicken dumplings were delicious, with a great flavor and texture—definitely a highlight! However, the rice with vegetables was disappointing. It didn’t taste fresh and seemed like it had been reheated in the microwave, which affected the overall quality. I’d come back for the dumplings, but I hope they improve on the freshness of their rice dishes.”
This place is inside of the Quarter Market food court so my expectations were not high to start with. The braised beef stew noodle soup I ordered was ok. On the positive side the beef was tender and perfectly braised and portion size was as expected. However, I am giving it 3 stars because:
1) broth was bland, no flavor
2) pricing was high (about $20 for the dish with egg addition) considering it was mall food court and you can get an amazing ramen...

Soup dumplings were pretty good, but I actually really enjoyed the vegetable fried rice. It had mushrooms and bok choy instead of the usual broccoli. Also had carrots and I think some egg.
