My steak and cheese was very salty, and I asked for everything on it, the cashier confirmed, and they only put lettuce & tomatoes on it… I could tell they were busy and they still pushed the order out quickly but I wouldn’t do it again.

The food at this place and pretty good but it depends who answers the phone because whenever I speak to the older guy who works there he’s very professional but whenever it’s the older lady she is so rude because she might can’t understand something your saying then gets mad and tell you that you don’t have to order from there .like I’m pretty sure you need customers if your store is open . She needs help with her customer service

Don't ask for Mumbo sauce they'll tell you they have it but when your order arrives there is no mumbo sauce lol they'll lie just to get your money.

I am disappointed and angry. I have been coming to this restaurant for years. The lady that took my order over the phone clearly has anger issues. She was being so disrespectful to my mother when she went to go pick up the order. She claimed that I said 2 orders of wings, but I did not. She was like "why are you here?", just completely being unnecessarily rude. I am never coming here again.

Horrible. Took an hour to make ribs and fried rice. The rice sits back there in a giant tub. Saw the cook dumping sauce from a bucket into some wings. It looked disgusting. The Eastern Carryout on Pershing is MUCH better.

One of those spots you order from if you're trying to save some cash. This does come with consequences though if you're used to higher tier carry out food. The Mumbo Sauce wings were a bit over fried. Easy to over fry if the wings don't have much meat on them (they weren't very plump). The egg drop soup low key taste like sink water with egg... that was not a vibe. Again, I saved a lot of money. You can survive off the wings. Don't get the egg drop soup.
Great portions, but prices posted on the signage in the store are not accurate and the food was okay but nothing special.

All I ever wanted was the famous DC mambo sauce. They promised they would include it, and I end up getting everything but my mambo sauce! What is DC carry out with out the Famous mambo sauce. Because of this, you get ONE star. You lied about bringing it after you said you would (I called them back after they left). If you love mambo sauce just goto Asian express in capital heights because its soooo good. And they never forget it. L for VA L for Arlington. This is why we stay across the bridge. Stop stealing our style of food if you can't keep the basic traditions. I am not eating here again, and anyone who loves mambo needs to save their money.

Eastern’s has always been a great go-to takeout restaurant. I have been coming over to this location for years. The staff is very friendly and they make delicious dishes. Try the chicken wings and some of their lo mein options! This place is amazing.

My family and I use to eat here and the food was okay. Now the food is disgusting, not cooked all the way until it's done at all. The people are extremely rude and disrespectful to customers and will hang the phone up on because they just don't Care. The food is extremely awful and there nasty, touching there face and nose all the time. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE! YOU MAY END UP IN THE HOSPITAL!!!!
