Pretty good Tex-mex restaurant at DCA! The portion sizes were pretty good. The chips and Queso are my favorite and the service was top-notch, making my airport dining experience a delightful one.

The food is terrible. Chips in chips and salsa supposed to be warm. Not! Salsa too sweet and obviously out of a jar and not even a good store brand. No seasoning used on anything and no interest in how it tastes. Served with white rice! Are you kidding me?

Good food and would have enjoyed it had my server not cleared our plates before I was finished. She put my husbands plate on top of mine and never asked if I was finished. Also my dish came with avocados, and the two tiny brown pieces were not fresh looking so I asked for them to be replaced and they brought me nice fresh avocados that were delicious but added $4 to the bill after.

As a frequent traveler I'm always looking for places I can depend on. At DCA that place is El Centro. The entire staff including Lindsay, Inches, Steve, Xenia and the rest of the crew have provided consistently fabulous service over a long period of time. The food is sensational, fresh and delicious. This is one of my favorite spots!
Was told I couldn't be served because the attendant said I looked "wasted" and she wouldn't want me to have flight issues because of being drunk. No joke. I drink 3 days a year maybe. Pretty annoying and offensive. I've been "wasted" twice ever and I definitely wasn't at 5am in a DC airport.It was 5am. I was definitely tired as I had just landed from a flight that left at 2am. It was a very turbulent flight. I fly every week. It was the worst I've experienced. Afterwards I decided to grab a drink to calm the nerves. What a way to welcome someone. Accuse someone of being wasted and refusing their business. She was annoyed before I even sat down. As if me even being there was an issue. Like I interrupted her chill time or something. Hate to be "that guy" but if felt racial..Tldr; Go someplace else. Went up to Legal Seafood where I received speedy, respectful and professional service. Walked a perfectly straight line to my flight ? and continued on with my venture. I'll never even look at this place again. And will be sure to spread the word to the many folks I meet and travel with.
