Was told I couldn't be served because the attendant said I looked "wasted" and she wouldn't want me to have flight issues because of being drunk. No joke. I drink 3 days a year maybe. Pretty annoying and offensive. I've been "wasted" twice ever and I definitely wasn't at 5am in a DC airport. It was 5am. I was definitely tired as I had just landed from a flight that left at 2am. It was a very turbulent flight. I fly every week. It was the worst I've experienced. Afterwards I decided to grab a drink to calm the nerves. What a way to welcome someone. Accuse someone of being wasted and refusing their business. She was annoyed before I even sat down. As if me even being there was an issue. Like I interrupted her chill time or something. Hate to be "that guy" but if felt racial..Tldr; Go someplace else. Went up to Legal Seafood where I received speedy, respectful and professional service. Walked a perfectly straight line to my flight ? and continued on with my venture. I'll never even look at this place again. And will be sure to spread the word to the many folks I meet and travel with.

Service was good, the chicken enchiladas with black beans & rice was surprisingly delicious. Plenty of tender shredded chicken, with a nice verde sauce. Not much to report about the ambiance, it's inside an airport.

Well, El Centro, for an airport restaurant was a little better than expected. We found ourselves with a 2 hour layover in the DC airport and I figured we would be much more comfortable at a restaurant table, probably with plugs and comfortable seating. El Centro had only one of those things, a table. The seats were not comfortable and there were no charging stations of any kind. On the other hand my order of steak tacos came RIGHT out and as I mentioned, were not as bad as I feared. Staff was very nice and super friendly.

Enjoyed a margarita at this spot while waiting for a plane. Relatively good for an airport. Try if you in the C gate area.

What a pleasant surprise - food, service and ambiance. I had an early flight out of DCA, and had a lovely breakfast at El Centro. Our waitress knew exactly what to recommend, and was attentive and delivered. No reservation was necessary but worth calling ahead to get your name in. Look forward to being back soon. Cheers!

Great food and excellent service. Our waiter was attentive and asked questions on how best he could serve us. Wish I had one near my home.

A nice mexican restaurant conveniently situated just next to C28 gate, at the Reagan airport. I had the burger gluten free (no bread), and chips and salsa. Great taste.

As a frequent traveler I dread eating in airports due to overpriced and low quality food. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at El Centro. My server Alex was super fast and provided top level service. Despite the restaurant being packed, my chicken quesadilla came out fast, was well prepared and well presented and tasted great. the front and back of the house definitely deserve credit for making a really nice restaurant experience in a place you'd least expect it.

One of the better restaurants. Staff was REALLY friendly. They helped each other out so great teamwork. Bartender seemed upbeat. Quesadilla was one of the better ones. Delicious.

This place is worth the stop; right at the end of the C-gates. It's solid quality food, especially considering it's in DCA. The staff is through-the-roof awesome, outgoing, and attentive. They have great long-term staff that love where they work and it's a pleasure to visit. 1000% would recommend!P.S. I really enjoyed the chicken quesadilla w/ Cholula
