Stopped in for a quick happy hour. So far have tried the happy hour and dinner menu. Looking forward to seeing the brunch menu. Have not had a bite I disliked!

Unfortunate experience here. The pan con tomate was made with stale supermarket bread, the croquetas were still frozen inside (although they didn't charge us for them), the food was rather boand, service was slow and there is very little atmosphere.

Amazing meal! One of the best paellas I’ve ever had. Everything by we ordered was excellent! Great vibe too - added bonus- flamenco dancer as entertainment. Highly recommend!

Absolutely phenomenal food and service here! We have a very high bar for Tapas and this was such a fabulous experience. The tapas are all perfectly cooked and seasoned, cocktails are also really really well designed and made. Paella, churros, and octopus are must haves.

The food was amazing! Especially loved the paella, churros, and potatoes. They also had live music and a flamenco dancer. Atmosphere was great, food and service were top notch — 10/10 would recommend!

I was disappointed with my experience at Merkat Bar de Tapas in the Pentagon row VA. The food was below expectations, especially la paella, which had little taste, the seafood was cooked separately and put on the top of the rice😞. For the price, I expected much better quality. The service was fine, but the food was definitely not worth it. Not coming back again.

This is probably my new favorite restaurant in the area! The selection of small plates was very good with something for everyone on the menu. The calamari was absolutely perfectly cooked and the lamb meatballs didn't disappoint. For drinks, I recommend the Peach Cosmo! Happy hour prices are probably some of the best in the area, with portion sizes that are pretty generous for tapas. Enjoy!

A lovely addition to the Pentagon City neighborhood, with a great happy hour that’s available on weekends! Also, shout out to our lovely bartender, Kathy!
Great spot for tasty Spanish food, friendly staff, and a relaxed vibe. Solid Tapas, flavors feel authentic, and it’s an easy place to enjoy a good meal.
