Overall, the food was good but spicy which was authentic. The portions were huge that I got full even when I was very hungry from the meat lovers platter (beef signi, beef alicha, zigni derho, tibsi, and awaze tibsi) since it was very delicious. The veggie sambusa was also delicious.

Gourmet Ethiopian food! The restaurant serves generous portion sizes which taste fantastic! We ordered a variety of sambusa for the table as appetizer to share which were great. I ordered the veggie combo for 1 which was phenomenal! I would recommend this place if you love Ethiopian food or if you want to try it for the first time! The service was great and the ambience was a chill vibe!

This is my favorite restaurant in Crystal City area. Good service and amazing food. Plenty of options for both vegetarians and meat lovers.

Waited to be seated for 20 minutes with empty tables. Then waited at the table for 20 more without any service. We left.

Best Ethiopian I’ve ever had—including the other hyped places in DC. If this place were in the city, it would be on every major food blog/guide.

Really delicious Eritrean food and generous portions! Red lentils are spicy but not overwhelming. Staff are super friendly. Location is nice with great little view near the window. And the sweetened iced spiced tea is AWESOME!

I've been a loyal fan of an Ethiopian spot in Atlanta for YEARS so I was hesitant about trying some place new. Enjera did NOT disappoint. Excellent food. Prompt service. Friendly staff. AND reasonable prices.

TLDR; I'm so fortunate I live nearby.Long story: Boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner, starving. We ordered the sambusa, veggie platter for 1, and meat platter for 1. The sambusa order came with two pieces. They were tasty, crispy, filled with potato, and came with a smoky chili sauce that was delicious and yet not too spicy. The platters were LOADED. They are not stingy with the amount they give you here. Everything was so flavorful. We ate until we needed to roll out of there and we still didn't finish half of everything. The owner also treats everyone like family.Pssssst to whomever needs to hear... This place deserves a Michelin star! ⭐

This place was very disappointing. The meat was hard and chewy. The chicken in the Doro Wat was the least tender we've ever had and in general this place is well behind every other Ethiopian we've had in the DMV, or Baltimore or Philly for that matter. The service was friendly but slow and the lighting was very dark in some spots, including ours. The collard greens were amazing though!
