I ordered the 4 piece chicken dinner and red velvet cake. The cake is great! the Mac & Cheese was a bit too mushy and not cheesy, the chicken was the large steroid looking wings and not crispy and the collards were a bit too vinegary for me. I spent $20 on the meal and didn't think it was worth it.

My 1st time in Arlington and my wife wanted to try this soul food place. This food is too good.. Mac and Chesse is Crazy delicious.. the Jumbo shrimp is best I ever had. The yams is great. I dont leave reviews but the food was so damn good... I had too!!
Staying at a local hotel and Decided to stop here after searching for nearby restaurants. 5 star Google reviews are well deserved! Ordered whiting fish, greens, and Mac and cheese. Food was prepared fresh with friendly professional service. Greens were soooo good perfect amount of vinegar. Generous portion worth the price and comes with bread for an old school fish sandwich ? Great black owner business, much continued success!
To be modest the food was so good I hugged the chef before I left! Can't even lie! Better go grab you some like you kno better. #

Chicken wings were huge, meaty, tasty and tender. M sauce was on point. . Pork chop, was good and smothered with gravy. Mashed potatoes, collards and yams were really good. Collards had flavor, but not super spicy, just right!
Atmosphere...i didn't see places to eat inside. Outside doesn't look like much, but the food was on point!
