I'd rate zero if I could. Very rude service. No simles. Made a mistake and would not even apologize. Such services are rare to come across. Not a good representation of DC for visitors, hopefully.

I was getting some snacks for the plane and I went to this cafe. The two females were rolling their eyes and refused to accept. They then tried to scam me out of 30 dollars and when I argued it they continuously disrespected me. This cafe is TERRiBLE, I hope they go out of business.

Would give half a star if I could solely based off of incorrect hours of operation. Not 24 hours. Not open at 5am, so what are the hours? Waste of space.
Walked here to get my morning mocha before my flight while getting teased by the photos of their beans. Turns out their espresso machine was out. No lattes, mochas or espresso. Just drip coffee and shrink wrapped pastry - something I could have gotten from my hotel this morning for free.
We recently enjoyed visiting Green Beans Coffee at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the coffee was just as good. The atmosphere was also pleasant and relaxing, making it a great place to relax before a flight.
It’s pretty said. Both of the females there (4/28; 1132hrs) were both standing there speaking in another language. Neither one of them acknowledged my presence, said one moment of an anything. They just continued to talk as if their conversation was more important as what I needed/wanted. I just walked off, bcuz my first mind was to act act because of their rude behavior.
Espresso is really good, the OJ is a little overpriced because it is not freshly squeezed (its sour) but again, the coffee is good (by coffee i mean espresso idk how the drip coffee is)
This place is horrible. I stood at the counter at 0530 am when no one else was around. The two women behind the counter purposfully ignored me and failed to even remotely look my direction. Their idea of customer service was to speak to each other and fumble with lord only knows what behind the counter. I walked off. DO NOT patronize this location while at the airport. Go to another coffee bar and get better served. Considering the other reviews, DCA should shut them down. Horrible!!!
Morning (simple Americano) coffee at GBC: First (at 9:15 am), I had to (nicely) wake up the solo staff#1 person, who was stone cold asleep behind the soda cooler. Second, no coffee was even brewed. Two large insulated decanter/ containers (at the brewing machine) were clearly empty; staff#1 seemed unsurprised and began to mechanically fill the filter baskets. So, good news(?), the coffee was fresh. While waiting for the brewing, staff#1 tapped a few buttons on the register and then silently pushed over the credit card machine. (Of note, staff#1, while understanding questions, only responded with grunts and hand motions; which is fine, not hating, but required some interpretation and 'resignaling' when I didn't understand the intended communication). My credit card transaction failed, whereupon staff#1 pulled back the credit card machine (by it's power cord), gently tapped the machine on the counter (apparently the trick) and motioned for me to hand over my credit card. After the transaction was completed, I ask where the cream was and staff#1 pointed directly to the adjacent "Bracket Room" bar (the creamer station is actually tucked away in a column to the immediate left of GBC's counter). After strolling the full length of Bracket Room's bar, I asked the bartender if she knew where the coffee creamer was; whereupon the bartender politely responded (and pointed towards) GBC's creamer station. Turning around and heading back towards GBC; staff#2 shuffed up and, obviously assessing I was looking for creamer, pointed to GBC's cream station, "creamer over there." After pouring several room temperature half&half creamers (btw the station was grimy, could use a deep cleaning), I was on my way.

All the horror stories you’ve heard about this place are true. Please read all the previous reviews. I asked if they had sugar and the staff member demanded I pay first before she gave me further information. What a sweetheart.

Coffee was very bitter, either it sat to long or bean grinder is dirty....
I normally let bad service slide bc I figure folks are under stress. But this place takes the cake. Both staffers were standing at the register looking dead at me but refused to acknowledge or take my order.Only bc there are no other quick food options in this terminal did I continue to stand and wait. May I also mention that they serve Sara Lee and try to pass it off as a fresh baked option. But I deviate from the purpose of this review— to highlight abysmal and ridiculous service. Anyone patronizing this horrible business is either getting on or off a plane. So to just shove the item in my hand and not offer a bag, not say good morning how may I help you then ask for a tip is the height of absurdity. The rudeness, low quality options and deeply poor customer service leads me to advise travelers to stop at Dunkin before entering this corridor— this business should be ashamed of itself and it’s workers.
They have a sign in the terminal that reads “Honor First. Coffee Second.” I should have taken it seriously. Horrid, watered down coffee. Gas stations serve better these days.
When drinking their coffee, feel like having a hot water with a little coffee flower. One of the worse coffee I have ever had.
