Poorly prepared food with terrible customer service. After making a mistake in most of our orders, the employee chose to defend himself and dispute when we brought to his attention the issue. Won’t be coming back and will recommend against it.

The food itself is great. Afghan style cuisine. Service is laughable. Incompetent front workers gave away my $200 pick up order to someone else when I had already come in earlier to confirm my order. They gave away my food to a random stranger with no confirmation. Manager is not assuring nor helpful. Never prefer take out from here. Need to hold their hand and walk them through it.

Got the lamb kabob. Meat was overcooked and had no taste. Worst kabob I’ve had in dc area.

The food is delicious, staff is super friendly, and portions are very generous at a great price point! Lots of vegetarian/pescatarian options as well. Highly recommend grill kabob.

The food was alright —the protein was tiny though the rice portion was huge. It felt a bit like we paid for only rice. We also had a gyro that was nothing amazing. I probably won’t be visiting again. We also requested no plastic utensils but upon requesting them they threw them out even though they were brand new which was kind of upsetting.

Delicious, generously portioned, and reasonably priced food in Ballston is a rare treasure. The platters can easily feed two people and are protein-packed no matter which option you choose. The naan and chickpeas are especially wonderful. We'll absolutely be coming back again!!

I came and ordered some food ...The guy who was wearing black hat and looks Hispanic type he started staring at me while he is preparing food...don't understand why you would do that ...I felt it very bad ? change your mindset.
Went here for lunch. The food was very good and they give lots of it to warrant the reasonable price. I ordered the chicken platter and will definitely order it more in the future. Make sure to call ahead as they do cook the skewers and bread when you order it if you can’t wait for 10-mins. I’m going to share with my company as a great catering option.

Updated: I was upset during one of my experiences but I’ll move past it. I only want to say that if you’re having a bad day for any reason never take it out on your customers, show the same respect you would want to be shown, and care about your job. Just be serious about what you’re doing.

Pretty good spot in Ballston for quick kabobs! I stopped by here on a weekday lunch for take out. Service was quick, staff spoke English (contrary to some reviews) and pricing was reasonable. $15 roughly for the beef kabob platter. The food was tasty and pretty generous portions. Also came with a large piece of pita bread on the side. Would definitely pick up food here again.
