This is my favorite Mexican food in the DC area. There are better tacos to be had elsewhere, but the enchiladas are great. I especially like the mole poblano.
Parking: The parking lot is always pretty full, but you can usually find paid street parking nearby.

First time here and definitely will be coming back. The house margaritas were some of the best I’ve ever had. The carne asada was savory and delicious. Must try!!!

The seating outside is quaint. The ships did not seem fresh. The fajitas were average. The service was not the best. Had to go inside to get a box and wave the server for the check.

Enjoyed the Chicken Fajitas a lot. The chicken was all white meat and cooked perfectly. The cast iron was screaming hot so the onions were nicely caramelized. The service was very friendly and helpful.

A simple but typical place, almost hidden, with fresh and very good food. Personnel quiet, relaxed and relaxing, with real attention for the customer. Gone with the family, everyone was satisfied. And we are Italians, the worst customers to satisfy ... ?

First visit…I went when it was empty. Only one other couple there. I appreciate the open-6pm happy hour. The drinks were solid. I liked my shrimp fajitas. No problem with service but again, I was alone at the bar. Plan to go back.

Hell yeah. This is what Mexican food experience should be like everywhere. Phenomenal food (wet burritos, taco salad) home made habanero salsa that’s full of flavor and packs serious heat. Really impressed. And I grew up in LA so I know what I’m talking about.

Food was great. Would definitely do a platter of their fish tacos. Fish and chicken tacos were my favorite.

Ordered the enchiladas.. it was basically a soggy taco bell “crunchy taco” with no sauce. no clue if this is what they consider an enchilada or if they forgot to add sauce but either way, horrible for 15$.. stomach doesn’t feel good now either just to top it off. won’t be back.
Ordered takeout once inside the restaurant since I couldn’t call it in, they don’t pick up their phone. They said it’d be 10 mins but took 30+ instead but when I asked if it was ready yet I had a rude employee tell me he can’t do anything about it. Got a plate of red enchiladas and the tortillas were stale and had the texture of cardboard. Also got asada tacos, why it is so difficult to make good asada tacos I’ll never know - the meat had chunks of unchewable tissue and was not even browned or crispy. Salsas, queso, and chips all decent, but I wouldn’t go back. The place was too loud and not clean.

This place is real rough. We glanced down at the menu and there was an ant crawling on it… inside the restaurant. Ok weird, but just an ant. We got drinks and could tell the outside of the glass was dirty, our waiter reeked of toilet bowl cleaner (he also made the drinks, hope he washed his hands), some of the mint leaves in the mojito were brown and rotted, and the mojito tasted like they put sprite in it. The house margarita was so intensely sour I couldn’t drink it. So we just got the vibe that this place was dirty and bad. The chips and salsa on the table we ate 1 chip each because they were so stale! Nothing went right.
Decided to not order food to get out of there faster, left 99% of the mojito and 80% of the margarita. Probably the worst restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Should have been concerned when we walked in and there were only two tables of patrons…

We were there for a Sunday lunch. I had Masitas de Puerco (pork shoulder and caramelized onions) and my friend had Taconazo (five tacos with different meat, pork shoulder, beef, chicken, etc.) The food was delicious and the portions big. My friend finished his tacos but I had to box up my pork shoulder. The service was very attentive. It's a place I would go back.
