We dined on a Friday at 6:00 PM at Guapo Shirlington. With a week earlier reservation, we still had to “bug” hostesses several times in order to be seated (“what is the point of a reservation if we still have to wait and bug you to be seated”). The waiting to be seated lobby spilled outside. The noise level was very loud and hard to hear each other over a very small table. Once seated, service was prompt and very pleasant. Server Nicole deserves an “shout-out”... never forgot us, and very pleasant. Low rating is due to hostesses...who I guess were frazzled by the huge walk-in list. Ordering was easy and food came out very quickly. Food was average (Fajitas)...nothing spectacular or noteworthy.

Great restaurant within walking distance of my hotel. Glad I dropped in for dinner. Food was delicious, but the star of the show was the staff. Everyone from the hostess to my assigned server (Claudia), was outstanding. Even those not assigned to my table would check on me when passing by. They made me feel like I was with a group even though I was dining alone. Certainly worth the visit if you're in the area.

Way too crowded and noise level through the roof. Avoid Friday nights during holiday season. Beef fajitas was poor choice, extremely tough and chewy. Will stick with the location in Falls Church.

Whoever the chefs were on that evening, I need them there all the time!!!!! The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Although they were very busy and they were not taking reservations online, the service was fast and efficient! It has been over 4 years since we were last here, we will be back sooner. Great job everyone!

this is my first time here. The staff is very friendly, they accommodated my change to my reservation at the last minute. The music is a competition between the bar and in the seating area, but otherwise it was a great time. 
Excellent service and a lively ambiance. Food portions are generous and served fresh. Even the freshly made chips and salsa are delicious! One of my favorite spots in Shirlington.

Always a, fan of Guapo's. The steak nachos brighten any cloudy day, for me. Flavorful, tender, straight up YUM. And the chips and salsa/Pico de gallo are sooo good.

Drinks were too sweet I asked for a white sangria, and I was charged 21 dollars when my friend next to me was charged 14 dollars for her sangria. I also ordered a aperol spritz and I was charge 16 dollars when you can get it for 12 dollar at palette. Get it inflation is out of control however, prices are way to high when you get chip liquor .I work as a bartender and one of the most important things about being a bartender is ask about preferences.

Guapo's is a very fun, large, lively Mexican restaurant in Shirlington with good food too. My favorite dish is the fajitas as I believe many other people's as well the place gets smoky from all those sizzling hot plates! The kids love watching the tortilla machine, and they have a very nice kids menu. It's crazy how busy this restaurant is and how fast they move people in and out. You look around and there are servers and bussers running around everywhere.
