This is my first visit to this location of Hot Lola’s. I had a three piece tender basket. The chicken was nice and hot and fresh, and the waffle fries were delicious! The service was a bit slow, especially given that there were no other customers, but all in all, a good experience.

Always love hot lolas! The chicken tenders are super crispy and well-seasoned, and the fries are great too!

Top tier hot chicken! Service is at times questionable but the food more than makes up for the occasional miscommunication.

If you miss spicy food, you can eat a spicier burger here than in Korea.

Good service and tasty food. My sandwich, the Seoul King, was a bit too rich. They dip the friend chicken in the sauce but I think that they should let it drain more. It was just too much. I have tried about every hot chicken place in the DC area and I think that this is a 3.5-4 compared to others. I will come back to try it again.

The girl taking our order never asked me what I wanted, just assumed we were done after my husband ordered. Our food took almost 30 minutes and they weren’t busy at all. The chicken was dry and almost sweet-tasting, the coleslaw was dry, and the corn was inedible. We couldn’t even finish our food and would never go back.

Not bad but not great- Pros: the slaw was great, heat was good and large quantity of meatCons: tenders in the sandwich are too thick at points and not great for a sandwich, should be a bit flatter and more uniform in thickness. The sauce they put on the Nashville hot was too sweet and too much, made a huge mess and masked the flavor of chicken and seasoning.

I heard about this place on Instagram and thought I had to give it a shot. My wife and I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. We ordered and had a seat. This is where things took a turn for the worst. Since the place was empty I started watching how they prepared the food. I noticed that the gentleman that took our order had on clear gloves. I thought to myself they are trying to remain safe and healthy. Upon my review that gentleman proceeded to do the following this the same pair of gloves he had oneTouch the screen on the registerTouched the cash he received and gave back to customersTouched the cupsTouched the doors on the back room Brought out boxes from the back roomTouched to go bagsTouched the fries that he pulled out of the bowl to place on your to go trays which he also touched.Touched the fries that fell in the floor to throw them away.I was immediately upset. I immediately walked over before he could touch my food and asked him to change gloves. I was not happy at all.I did stay to eat after I ensured he changed gloves before touching my food. The food was ok. The bread was good. I expected fried chicken on the club but I was wrong. No mention that they use turkey bacon instead of real bacon. Overall I was not impressed and highly disappointed. I've attached my receipt for the owner or manager to review the date and time to see the exact actions I am referring to above, I hope they get corrected immediately.

One of the best hot chicken sandwiches, tenders, drumsticks, etc that you’ll find in the DMV. I’ve had people visit from NYC, NJ, and Pakistan who have found this place to be unbelievably delicious. They have different levels of heat so you can pick what you feel like having. The chicken is so juicy!!! The toast and pickles are crunchy and tasty. The space is large and clean. I’m so happy this restaurant is in NOVA.

One of the only places in the area where you can leave feeling you got every penny's worth for your food.Stick to the medium heat ranges, the sandwich is too good to waste by tasting nothing but pepper extract.

The Flippin’ Hot is an absolute face scorcher, it will cause you to simultaneously experience all five stages of grief. You will lose all sense of self. It will remake you, atom by atom, cell by cell. You will be born anew, now greater than the sum of your parts.10/10, the fries and toast are good too

I only tried this place because I was waiting to pick someone up from a flight and I'm glad I did. The chicken sandwiches are crazy hot but so delicious. They give you heat level options but if you like really hot food then this place has you covered. The fries that I ordered were fresh and hot which complimented the meal very well. I almost forgot the portion size, I tend to eat a lot but I had to take half of the sandwich home since it was too much for me to eat in one sitting. For a restaurant in DC it wasn't that expensive which makes me want to go back and get another sizzling hot sandwich again.

I was in DC for a week for work and one of my friends was saying how there was this one fried chicken place that I needed to try if I was a foodie, and let me say... he did NOT disappoint!I had this earlier on in the week and will be thinking of this until the next time I come back. The chicken sandwich and fries were to amazing. The spice scale is fairly accurate; I got a 6 and it was medium hot, but not unbearable. The taste was unique and seemed to have a Chinese influence. It was awesome and for being under $20, it's unbeatable.

The food was good ... once I was able to blot off whatever the suave was that was slathered on both sides of the bun. I've never been to this restaurant before and it was clearly stated on the menu that the sandwich came with slaw and pickles ... which I asked for them to hold. There was no mention of the sauce, so beware that it exists, and a whole lot of it. Restaurant: please list all items that come on or with an item on the menu.

Food was really good but also when your sandwich costs $14, I expect it to be good. For the price, I have tasted better for cheaper. Why does this place charge extra for “employee wellness”? You can’t afford to treat your employees with dignity so you make your customers pay for you instead? I think the food is worth a try, and who knows, maybe one of these days I’ll really crave it and I’ll get it again despite its insane prices. But just know what this place is: overpriced food that’s pretty good. Try it at the risk of your wallet, really.
