I’ve eaten at Il Radicchio many times and have had great experiences.
However, they recently removed their all you can eat pasta deal that was a huge draw to get great food at slightly more affordable pricing. This is really unfortunate, and the most recent time we ate there, the portion sizes for the actual pasta in the ‘Choose your Pasta’ section did not compensate for the lack of old deal, nor did our server tell us that this deal had changed until after we ate our first bowls.
Unfortunately due to the change in this policy I won’t be coming as frequently.
We occasionally get takeout pizza and eat in. It’s a great little neighbourhood restaurant. However, the last pizza we ordered sometime ago was inedible but tonight we were tired and thought we’d try again. The Marguerita with mushrooms was edible, just. The regular Marguerita was awful, dry, over cooked, hardly any mozzarella. Very disappointing. Never again. Good for our furnitures.
Food was a bit too salty for me and I love salt. Prices were good for the area and service was quick.
Loved it! Bruschetta, gnocchi, pizza, parmesan chicken. Rich flavors, fresh breads, and noodles were perfect.
Great food and service. My favorite when I come to DC area. My son, daughter in law and kids agree.

Tasty food, delicious. I will eat there again and again. Price is reasonable, and I enjoyed sitting outside. Very good restaurant.

Il Radicchio is our favorite neighborhood restaurant and we go about once a week. Service is always excellent from Edy (server who usually is tending the outside section).
The menu is really good and varied, but we often get the Salad di Mele with shrimp added and round it off with their complimentary grilled bread (a must have!) and wine. Sometimes we get a pizza. The tomato sauce has a really good fresh flavor.
Last time we ordered a pasta dish, plus shrimp (tomatoes, chilis) and the grilled eggplant parm (has roasted potatoes, no noodles), which has broccolini and pine nuts. They were both excellent!
All in all it is difficult to order since everything has been excellent! Thank you

Excellent service, value and food, but it was kinda hot in the summer. Veal parm and gnocchi were both yummy. Calamari was grilled which is great. Can't believe they still have all you can eat pasta.

It is not all you can eat pasta anymore, although it is presented that way on the menu. For those who use to enjoy that and order different sauces, you are out of luck. It’s what made the place unique.
