Island Time Bar & Grill

I was drawn to this place because it was on the water. When we got there, many of the tables were “reserved” for a party from 2-4. We got there around 2:30 and all of the reserved tables were empty. The rest of the non-reserved tables were full. What is frustrating is that most people in the party who reserved the tables were standing. But we witnessed a manager shoo a couple away who happened to sit at a reserved table. Even though 90% of them were still empty. It was dumb.

We ordered drinks and a lobster roll after waiting in line for about 10 minutes, and managed to find two seats between two random couples. We were entirely too close for comfort. After eating quickly to get away from this awkward situation, we went inside where seats were available. There was clearly no AC going on a 95^ day. I went up to the inside bar to grab one last drink and asked the man if I could order a drink there. He asked, “what kind of drink?”, where I hesitated and said, “a mixed one?” It was incredibly awkward. Even though he had a whole bar behind him, he said he could only take food orders because he “didn’t have the means to make drinks.” Which was so untrue. If he didn’t want people moving inside and outside to order drinks (the outdoor bar did have a line), he could have just said that. Full on lying to me that he didn’t have the means to make a drink when a whole bar was behind him was annoying. We quickly finished our drinks and left and will not be back. The fries were good though.

Very good vibe. Service and food are great. Only drawback no raw bar.

Hidden gem in the DMV. Must go!

Great spot to cool down on a hot summer. By the Marina with planes overhead so lots to watch and food was great as well.

To be fair, I did not visit while there was live music going on. The food was okay but nothing Gourmet or top tier for the area. It's a good place to stop off at if you happen to be hungry and thirsty and in the area but I wouldn't make this a go to destination per se

Stopped here for a tasty beverage on our mount vernan trail walk. Fresh squeezed grapefruits in the drinks! Cute location with views of harbor and the pentagon. A tucked away little gem!

This place is amazing! The tropical decor makes it feel like a little getaway, and the colorful drinks are like a vacation in a glass. The food is incredible-whether it’s fresh seafood, juicy burgers, or tangy tacos, everything feels like a celebration. The staff is so friendly, and even on a busy night, they make you feel special. Plus, the live music adds the perfect vibe to kick back and enjoy the fun atmosphere. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience!

Amazingly laid back place to enjoy an after work margarita. This time of year (end of summer/fall) is especially nice.

Island Time was fantastic! My group had a social event with appetizers catered this afternoon and it couldn’t have gone any better! There is corn hole and other games available to boost camaraderie. And the scenery right on the water is so nice. Shout out to Bruce for all his help coordinating such a fun event!

Perfect after a bike ride. All the juice for their crushes is juiced right in front of you. That makes it ***** for me.

This is a little oasis close to the Pentagon and on the Potomac. Plenty of drink choices with a full service bar. Food looked ok but we did not try. No busy and laid back vibe. You don'need a yacht to get in.
