Big shout out to Northern Virginia foodies for showing me about this place. Literally right across the street from McDonald’s in walking distance from my work. I came in here as a first time customer on my lunch break super busy but very efficient on getting people by to the register I order to Al Pastore tacos at 375 each and a kids quesadilla de Pollo 550. However, the girl at the register gave me a regular quesadilla and charge me 750 and I was questioning why it was $20. 63. Afterwards for a few minutes the owner and pink, who also makes the food came up to me and apologize for the inconvenience and misunderstanding on the order. Offered me to have everything for free. Personally, I respect that from Restaurant and its staff. I told them it’s OK I just rather have their homemade Horchata as a thank you. I loved how the ladies in the back were concerned about Customer Service and resolved quickly with me. This is definitely an establishment that anyone she come and try authentic Mexican food.

I stopped by here for a take out and ordered Tacos. I had Asada/steak, Barbacoa and I’m so glad that they have Tinga/shredded chicken. The wait time wasn’t that long, when I tried the tacos, it was tasty ! What a hidden gem for this place ! I recommend the Barbacoa and Tinga tacos, they both are filling and flavorful. If you want to try this place, with a good experience & short wait time for your food, swing by during a weekday & there is also free parking.

I was driving past this place on N Glebe Rd in Arlington and had the thought of; "I bet that place has ? tacos!". Any little place that us tucked away in a little strip mall always slaps so hard in the best way. This place is called Jarochita #2. I loved it and it could be my new go-to spot for authentic, fresh, made-to-order tacos. The staff was friendly. It was clean. It was lively. And as a pretty standard gringo, I was welcomed with open arms.Bonus: They have a sauce bar that is included with your meal. I'm a sucker for condiments and extra cilantro and jalapeños, so this was a huge selling point for me that will bring me back.

My recent experience at Jarochita left me with a somewhat mixed impression, with notable points to consider regarding both the cuisine and cleanliness of the establishment. The food, on the one hand, could be described as average. While it may not have been exceptional, it managed to meet a certain standard, offering a passable dining experience. On the other hand, the cleanliness of the restaurant fell short of expectations. The atmosphere did not exude a sense of pristine upkeep, and this was notably reflected in various areas of the establishment. From the dining areas to the restroom facilities, there was room for improvement. Cleanliness is a fundamental factor that contributes significantly to the overall dining experience, and the lapse in this area was somewhat disappointing. It is important to note that the restaurant staff played a crucial role in mitigating the less-than-ideal experience. Their demeanor and service were commendable, adding a positive dimension to the visit. The friendly and attentive staff contributed to a more pleasant atmosphere despite the cleanliness concerns. In conclusion, while the cuisine at Jarochita could be described as average, the cleanliness standards fell short of expectations. Addressing these hygiene issues promptly would be crucial for the restaurant to enhance its overall appeal and provide a more satisfying dining experience for patrons. The positive aspects, such as friendly staff, are noteworthy, and with improvements in cleanliness, Jarochita has the potential to offer a more well-rounded dining experience.

If you are looking for real Mexican food in the DMV, look no further than Jarochita #2. The tacos were tasty. Not sure why they had tomatoes but that’s okay. The ceviche tostada was delightful and tasted extremely fresh. The doors were on the thin side which isn’t what I’m used to but it was really nice and crispy. All meat was well seasoned. The only lackluster thing was their salsa. It had heat but no flavor. The masa in the tamale was welll seasoned but slightly over cooked, the tamale was still better than most I’ve had in the area. Place was a little sketchy looking but sometimes those places are best! Despite the minor criticisms this is definitely a place we will be returning too excited for more food.

I’m a former native of Mexico City - I know good Mexican food. I’m even a bit of a Mexican food snob. That said, Jarochito #2 is the definition of an authentic, Mexican “hole-in-the-wall.” It’s kind of a grimy little spot in a strip center, that sells Latino goods out of the other side of the lease, but is the most authentic, best tasting Mexican I’ve had in WMA. I love surprising friends from out of town by taking them here for tacos. I usually get tacos Al pastor, lengua, and cabeza. Also, their Menudo is quite good. Of course, they’ve also got aguas frescas and liquados to boot. My one nock is their pricing. Their food is good … and they know it, hahaha.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem getting into restaurant. I have no idea about the restroom.Dietary restrictions: My wife has wheat and dairy allergies, and the team here easily accommodated her.

Amazing tacos. Authentic which is mainly why I always order from here. Everything is always freshly made and wait time is average . I will say that knowing a bit of Spanish is helpful when ordering but not required. In general one of my top spots for tacos - my go to is tacos de lengua. The chorizo gordita is bomb too.
