Expensive, but great ice cream
This place was clean, they had a great selection, and the worker was kind. I got the gooey butter cake, bramble berry, and caramel apple crumble. I honestly didn’t care for the caramel apple one (my fault- I didn’t sample it beforehand). Brambleberry was a solid choice. The gooey butter cake and the waffle cone were my favorite!
Great selection of flavors that rotate often and behan options. This location is on a great walkable street with paid parking. Offers Indoor seating only.
Love this place. I’m always excited when I get a chance to stop by.
Ice cream was great. Loved every spoonful.
Absolutely delicious! I love the assortment of creative flavors and seasonal options! The staff is always so friendly and accommodating and take their time to describe each option with complimentary samples to match! Highly recommend! The portions are also huge so it’s worth every dollar!
I love Jeni's ice cream. I love they have vegan options and also one of the all the time is lemon bar, which is my favorite. Never disappointed and always flavorful and good. A little pricey but that's why you get a good quality ice cream.
I have never felt the need to write a review in my life but I was actually disappointed by the service i got today.
Not from virginia actually fron baltimore so I just came by to spend the weekend with my family and was enjoing the farmers market that was going on today, i'd heard good things about jennys before so i was excited when i saw one, I stopped by around 3ish and it smelled sooo good when i walked in i was super excited they don't lie about the waffle cones!
However when approaching to order it felt weird because everyone around us was getting good service but the man who helped us was very snippy and rude with us, he had black hair and some tattoos. It felt odd because he was the only one yelling for people to move down the line and keep the door closed across the shop and when telling us about the flavors we were tasting he was being very short and rushing through them and just overall seemed annoyed to have to help us i dont get how you can be so uptight when working with icecream maybe he was having a bad day but thats no reason to act like that when everyone else was so joyful
Fantastic ice cream with delicious, incredibly unique flavors. That's what Jeni's does: creating new types of flavors that are truly fantastic for your palate. I tasted a couple of flavors and then decided on a half scoop of brown butter brittle and a half scoop of the birthday cake. Both were delicious, and she added some hot fudge to the top, which made it even better. It was pretty pricey, over $9, but it was fantastic and a nice treat. This is not my first time at this ice cream place, but it was in this location. I've been to others throughout Northern Virginia, and it's as good as, if not better than, the others. It's certainly less crowded during the day, as I've waited in line in the past at other locations for quite a while. I highly recommend a visit here, especially if you've come to another restaurant in the area and would like to treat yourself after your meal.
Mmmmm. Ice cream!!! And everything is labeled for those of us that need to avoid gluten or dairy. No pictures, ate it all, it was very good... opaque and salted peanut butter.

The ice cream tastes good. I put 2 stars because the size of the scoops is very small almost like a sample . We hardly were able to taste it while we paid 17$.
I saw the employee putting large scoops in a cone for themselves for free while for the customers they were very greedy and measuring it to be very small. I find it disrespectful and greedy .
Worest service compare to Alexandria and Washington DC
Friendly staff . Very good ice cream. Scoops are a little small. It is pricey. I just paid $17.50 for one scoop on a waffle cone and two scoops on a waffle cone.
They advertise using fresh fair trade ingredients. So the price may reflect that positive feature.
I took off one star for the price.
Delicious flavors that you may not find elsewhere. Price was a little high, but I’ll pay it again because it was that good. I had the strawberry and pretzel in vanilla and I tasted a couple of others that I will get on my next trip. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
Good ice cream I don’t eat much sweets but it’s always a pleasure to stop into a Jeni’s and grab a half scoop/kid’s scoop. I’ve been to this location and the one in Old Town. The service is not the best at this location.
