Went to Jeni's in Shirlington, VA and bought three pints of ice cream. Each pint was $12.00. Yep, that's right, $12 each! At any given grocery store, from Target to Whole Foods, a pint of Jeni's is no more than $8.60.

I didn't realize the extent of the price gouging until the pints were bought and I was home ready for my family to enjoy the ice cream. The cherry on the experience was one of the pints was icy and inedible. So there was that too.

Bottomline, save yourself some pennies and go to the grocery store and maybe buy some Ben and Jerry's instead.

On Friday my partner and I came in to get waffle cone and this worker named Tessa was absolutely amazing and explained each flavor and not once did I feel like a inconvenience she was very engaging and friendly, made some great suggestion.

Everyone loves Jeni’s! Definitely worth a stop in if you’ve never had it before! It’s a bit pricey but they do give you an insane amount of ice cream and you can tell the ingredients are top notch. Flavors are always yummy and they always keep a few bizarre flavors on tap as well.

Waited 15 mins in line. Ice cream was excellent, staff friendly and efficient, but asking for a tip to serve 3 scoops of ice cream after waiting was too much.

Pretty great ice cream, but like any location, there are some idiosyncrasies that will challenge your taste buds and your preferences. I enjoyed the green mint and salted peanut butter flavors, it melted very nicely in the heat, but there was something about the texture that I prefer other locations. The cost is higher compared to some locations, but this is also Shirlington.?‍♂️ The hours of operation are unparalleled. The staff is knowledgeable and are ready to take your order. One interesting thing about this brand is that they also sell their own pints, which you can take home.

It is nice to see Jeni's has a location in Shirlington. The store is pretty similar to other of their locations. They have many unique flavors, and the store assistants are very nice that let you try as many time as you want until you find the one. The store isn't very big and there are only two tables. It was a bit crowded when I was there during a busy Sunday afternoon.

Great ice cream. The staff was kind and respectful. The building itself is a bit small but it makes up for that in the design.
