Prices are getting way out of control for such food. 10 bucks for just rice. Wow.

Used to be one of my favorite places when I lived in the area. The lamb curry, bone in chicken kabob, chick peas, spinach and potatoes, and rice are consistently good. They do have some off days, but generally, you’ll get a solid meal.

The pricing has gotten wild though!! $25-$30 nowadays!

Everything was excellent. The food tasted amazing, it’s been a long time since I’ve had South Asian cuisine this good. Honestly, it beats what I’ve had in New York and other states. The palak aloo was my favorite, and the chicken karahi and haleem were incredible too.

The portion sizes were generous, which I really appreciated. So many places skimp on portions and still don’t taste half as good. Here, it was the complete opposite. I definitely overate, and now I’ll be paying for it at the gym!

I was only in town for a day, otherwise I know I’d become a regular customer. We dined in and even ordered extra to take with us for tomorrow. Mashallah, I didn’t get to try more dishes, but based on what I had, I’m confident the rest of the menu is just as delicious.

If you want kabobs that actually taste like something, Kabob Palace in Arlington is the place. The grill hits you with that smoky aroma the moment you walk in, and the flavor lives up to it. Juicy chicken, tender lamb, beautifully seasoned kofta — everything cooked right in front of you on those massive skewers.

Portions are generous, prices make sense, and the food comes out fast even when they’re packed. This is the kind of spot you visit once and end up coming back to all the time. If you love real Afghan-style kabobs, you won’t find anything better in the area.

Highly recommend.

Kabob Palace is an absolute gem! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Every dish—from their perfectly seasoned kabobs to their aromatic rice and delicious sides—tastes like it’s been prepared with real care. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in.

The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The kabobs are perfectly seasoned and grilled, the rice is always fluffy, and the sauces add the perfect touch. The staff is friendly, fast, and welcoming, even during busy hours. Whether you're grabbing a quick takeout meal or sitting down for a hearty dinner, Kabob Palace delivers great taste and great value every time. Highly recommended!

The portions are enough to feed 3 from 1 platter or you will have a nice lunch the next day that makes everyone jealous. The spinach & potatoes are delicious. We ate in, ran into old friends; always pleasant in there.

Ridiculously expensive, and food is not fresh unless it was cooked right infront of you.

Lamb Karahi was good, but Chapli kabab missed the mark. Prices are steep, but portions are massive - what they say serves 2 actually feeds 4! 🤯💸 self service restaurant and Crowded with not so comfortable or private sitting.

I have been going here since they opened in 1993. The food is fantastic but I don’t know what’s going on with their prices. What was $25 a year ago is now almost $40 (more than $40 after tax). Just too expensive.

This place has lost it! Used to love this place but now 1 entree cost $30 and got cheap with the sides options. Never again! You just lost a loyal customer.
