Service was great. However, the hibachi was just ok. They do not have hibachi tables where you can sit and have an experience. They cook the food in the back. Just a heads up if you’re looking for an experience.

In a sea of blue, I wish they weren’t playing FOX news. Other than that, dynamite.

While the sushi is decent here, I was really disappointed by the hibachi, I found it inedible and also by the fact that it didn’t seem to make a difference whether we’d barely touched our food.

We ordered one chicken and one steak hibachi as well as a salmon cucumber roll. I started with the steak hibachi but found the steak chewy and flavor weird, so I traded my partner for the chicken, I also couldn’t eat that due to texture and taste. The chicken was rubbery and I actually had to spit a piece out. My fiance thought the steak was marginally better but also wasn’t able to eat most of his. The yumyum sauce was also very off. We ordered the check with over 90% of my plate left and the server didn’t ask if there were any issues with it or even if we wanted a box to go (assuming we’d liked it—but did not want a to go box anyway). I think part of service is making sure your customers are actually enjoying what they ordered. I do not like to complain and also don’t like undertioping servers, so paid about $80 and will still need to get dinner. Unfortunately, based on this experience we won’t be back, even though I have come here on a couple of other occasions for sushi.

Lovely Sake Don!

I’m quite picky with sashimi and I really enjoyed my meal here. I was impressed with the quality (and quantity). The miso soup was also classically delicious!

I definitely recommend a visit!

Mid food and mid atmosphere. A big space that the vibes can't fill all the way, leaving an emptyness in the air. Seemed more Americanized than I would have liked.

This place is a fantastic spot for cocktails and sushi! Already been there twice and will definitely go back again when I'm in the area. The customer service is excellent, and the ambience creates the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable night out. Their pricing is fairly reasonable, making it a worthwhile choice for quality food and drinks. Whether you're in the mood for a well-crafted cocktail or fresh sushi, this place delivers.

Great location and large and clean interior with plenty of seating but no onsite parking. The menu was very large and the rolls all seemed delicious. The three rolls i tried were awesome. Fresh tasting fish with great sauces and accoutrements. Rolls were a nice size and worth the price. The drinks were also great; nice and strong. Large outdoor patio for the warmer months. Service and time for food to table was also Great. For sure will visit again ❤️❤️

Ugh. I wanted so badly to like this place! 😞I’ve gone three times since they’ve opened and have tried their hibatchi, ramen, and sushi, in hopes that I would like any of them and have Kanji become my new spot. Unfortunately, I’ve been very disappointed with the taste of their food each time I’ve gone. Their miso soup is sweet, not salty, which is strange to me. Their hibatchi lacks flavor, even with yum yum sauce added. The sushi itself was bland, and the nori/seaweed was so chewy it was tough to eat through. The last time I ordered food from them, I gagged when I smelled my ramen (there was a very strong fishy stench to my pork ramen, so I decided not to eat it). Again, I’m super bummed, as I LOVE Asian food and was hoping to love this spot, but their food is not worth it. I feel bad leaving mostly negative things here, so I will say the restaurant itself is cute inside!

Great food. Server refilled our waters without us needing to ask. Got takoyaki, pork buns (steamed taco-style buns with a generous helping of pork), rainbow roll, California roll, Philadelphia roll. All very good. I would return and order again. The atmosphere is very calm and servers are friendly and polite.
