Terrible… stopped by because my kids asked. Although I mentioned I did not care for Kung Fu. I ordered a Large, green milk tea w/ cap at 70% sweetness. I asked my kids to meet me in the car because I could not stand the cigarette smell that was radiating in the tea shop. I get my drink and there is no milk w/ tea and no cap. Although the label indicated. My spouse goes back for me. This time he brings me one that has no sugar. He said he would go back for me, but I just said forget it. My other kid got a Green tea w/ passion fruit and complained that there was no passion fruit flavoring. I get that the young girl was new at the register and needed help putting in the order. It took longer than expected, but “dang” to also get the drinks wrong. I honestly think Kung Fu has gone down hill over the years and this visit proves my point to my kids.

Fine for east coast boba

It would be great if someone there spoke Spanish but otherwise the place is excellent.

The drinks are always on point and the service friendly.

The only detractor is it can be a bit slow if they get a rush of orders. Still a 5 star drink, just be ready to chill for a bit at busy times.

My recent foray into Kung Fu Tea, the boba tea haven nestled in Clarendon, has left me with a palette of mixed impressions, leaning towards a somewhat subdued experience. As a frequenter of boba establishments, I was eager to explore what this particular spot had to offer. However, certain aspects of my visit, ranging from the taste of the beverages to the overall cleanliness of the place, have given me pause.Firstly, the boba tea at Kung Fu Tea leans heavily toward the sweet end of the spectrum. While sweetness is subjective and personal preference varies, the beverages here tend to border on overly sugary, potentially overwhelming the palate and masking the nuanced flavors that boba enthusiasts often seek. The menu, although extensive and diverse, seems to gravitate towards catering to a sweeter tooth, and those seeking a more balanced or less sugary experience may find the options somewhat limited. On the health front, it's worth noting that the sweetness levels contribute to a perception of the drinks as being less healthy, given the well-documented concerns about excessive sugar intake. For those mindful of their sugar consumption, Kung Fu Tea may pose a challenge, as moderation in sweetness levels doesn't seem to be the norm.Another noteworthy aspect is the cleanliness of the establishment. While not overtly dirty, Kung Fu Tea in Clarendon might benefit from a bit more attention to tidiness. A cleaner and more organized environment could elevate the overall customer experience and add to the appeal of the establishment.Despite these critiques, it's not all drawbacks at Kung Fu Tea. The variety of boba tea options, ranging from classic milk teas to fruit-infused concoctions, offers a broad spectrum for exploration. The service is generally prompt and friendly, contributing positively to the overall customer experience. In conclusion, Kung Fu Tea in Clarendon caters to boba aficionados with an extensive menu, but the pervasive sweetness of the drinks and the cleanliness standards may leave some patrons with reservations. Balancing sweetness levels and enhancing the tidiness of the space could transform this boba tea haven into an even more enticing destination for those seeking a delightful and well-rounded experience.

Nov’23 Update
Hot drink container is super leaky. Staff was very nice and switched my beverage to a new cup but still, super leaky!

Is it me who changed or they reduced the amount of tea in the drink? Taro milk tea and oolong milk tea do not taste the same as before, more bland, like watered down, not as much as tea aroma there…
