Came in for the first time today around 11:30am. Ordered the Santa Fe wrap. Asked for extra sauce on the side, and was told “no, because we don’t have anything to put it in.” I haven’t been to any cafe that didn’t have little containers for sides. The wrap was decent. It came with a Diet Coke that EXPIRED December 2021. It’s almost April 2022.If they aren’t checking their shelves to verify drinks aren’t expired, it makes me wonder about the quality of everything else. I will NOT be back.

The food is like your mom's home-cooked meals but only professional. Exceptional hygiene score if you check this Yelp page. Exceptional care, which everything is made with. Generous portion, reasonable price. My new favorite is corned beef hash in the morning. Try it with onions (and maybe with hot sauce as well). And maybe with hazelnut coffee. Eggs are always cooked perfectly to my order. The best way to start my morning at 6 am, when there is no decent restaurant open around. Here are the few of my favorite things: Her own creamy grits, her Thursday biscuit, her special spicy pork bulgogi on Wednesdays.. and then I don't feel~~ so bad!

What a fun neighborhood joint. Good people that welcome you and make you feel you're part of the neighborhood - doesn't hurt to have cheap a** sandwiches that are bomb as well. Had both a pastrami reuben and chicken cheesesteak the other day. Definitely appreciate the effort they went through searing every component bit by bit on the flat top - a huge difference when a reuben gets heated that way vs a toaster. Even got to add hot peppers on both my sandwiches no charge. Chicken cheesesteak was already super melty and delicious - plus green peppers and mushrooms included for a sub-$10 is almost unheard nowadays. Next time I need a quick solid bite and I'm in the Ballston area, Laura's gonna be on the map.

I have been ordering Laura's breakfast burritos (with bacon) for the past year. It is the best and most consistent breakfast burrito in Arlington! Laura has been nothing but friendly to me and my food is always piping hot. Check her out!

Disturbs the community by dragging metal chairs/tables across the sidewalk at 4:45am. I will provide an update if the owner changes their behavior.

They have wonderful Bulgoki, and their other breakfast options are fantastic too!

Great customer service, food comes out VERY FAST, nice lady, and the food was excellent. It's definitely a "get the food to go place" but there's two tables outside to eat at, and it's well worth it to grab breakfast here! I got a Turkey bacon, egg, & cheese and it was great! She ads a little bit of salt and better on the eggs which i like, but if that's not your thing let her know! Prices are standard for Ballston, maybe a little bit cheaper than other places so I say give it a try if you're in the area.

Great food. Fast and reliable! I work near by and it’s my go-to for my lunch break!

Laura's is solid and my favorite local place. The breakfast and lunch are both freshly made and while Laura can come off as curt, she means well and is friendly and super nice once you get to know her. It can get busy in there sometimes but service is always quick. Personal favs are the omelette or the homemade biscuit if it comes back. Her potatoes are also great. Lunch is a santa fe wrap, which is delish and I eat once a week. A clean, local, tasty lunch spot only open during the week. Definitely worth a stop and you'll be back as it's addicting.

Laura Cooks does a great job at what it sets out to do. The food is uncomplicated, prices are very reasonable, and sandwiches are tasty. My personal recommendation is to go with one of the daily specials - especially if it's the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. Make sure you know what you want, this place can get busy at times and Laura doesn't always have the patience for people derping around with deciding what to order.

Your standard everyday deli! Where I’m from, Delis are everything, so it was nice on the way to work to go pick up an egg Turkey sausage and cheese on rye. That sausage has a kick too! Will be back soon!

Great food for affordable prices, and fast reliable service. I was only in Arlington for a month but I must've eaten here at least twice a week.

I've had every breakfast sandwich in Arlington. This is going down for top 3 for me might even be number 1 to be honest. Good work Laura
