Assorted Hummus, baba ghanoush, fresh baked pita were all delicious. Service was superb. Really attentive!
We tried few vegetarian options and they were very tasty, perfectly cooked. Friendly staff was also able to customize dish to substitute meat with vegetables.
As usual, the Lebanese Taverna did a good job with food preparation and provided excellent service.
Excellent food and service.
Chill atmosphere.
The food here is always fantastic. Atmosphere is quiet, even when it is busy and the service is exceptional.
I had an unfortunate experience during my recent visit to this restaurant. I went in hoping for a light meal and ordered only an appetizer—the shawarma rolls. When I placed my order, the waitress asked if I wanted anything from the main menu. I explained that I wasn’t very hungry and just wanted the appetizer.
Her reaction was unexpected: she appeared surprised, paused awkwardly, and then went to the kitchen. Shortly after, she returned to inform me that the shawarma rolls were unavailable. This struck me as odd, considering that item is a regular part of their menu and similar shawarma dishes were still being served.
While I can’t say for certain what happened behind the scenes, the interaction left me feeling unwelcome—as if ordering a smaller item wasn’t acceptable. I chose to leave at that point.
I hope this was just a misunderstanding, but it did affect my impression of the service. I’ve enjoyed this place in the past, so I hope future visits are more accommodating.
I had an amazing experience with the Lebanese cuisine! The kibbeh was perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside, with a flavorful, tender filling. The pastries were fresh and delicious—flaky, savory, and full of authentic taste. And the kebab mix? Absolutely mouthwatering—juicy, well-marinated, and grilled to perfection. Every bite was a treat. Highly recommend!
Great Lebanese food in Pentagon city. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is good. If you are looking for Lebanese food, this is highly recommended.
Amazing. Great family vibe and awesome food. My kids are very picky and this is the place they choose every month. Every server has been top notch.
The lamb kabobs are very tasty and the bread awesome

We love every visit to this restaurant. Every staff member is just fantastic, and the food is always amazingly consistent. Gotta love a place where "medium rare" actually means medium rare when it comes to the lamb kabobs. Been coming here for years and hope to keep doing so!!
We were underwhelmed with our visit. The waitress was not very friendly and the food was mediocre. My husband's beef and lamb shawarma was VERY dry. My shrimp kabob, to be served with roasted vegetables, had a total of 5 tiny pieces of roasted zucchini and the rice was not fresh. The shrimp was good. Our guest's fatteh looked good and she didn't complain, but the price seemed really high for the portion. For a very costly dinner, it was just OK. I much prefer the Lebanese Taverna market in N Arlington - fresher and tastier food, better prices and large portions.
We return to this restaurant every time we are in town. We moved from the area 28 years ago and it was our favorite then and still is today. The food is excellent and a good value with large portions at a reasonable price.
Lebanese taverna has an amazing menu of delightful Lebanese food. You can't go wrong with the Shawarma or chicken Shawarma the cup of kebabs are delicious. And the hummus is so creamy and flavorful, you won't even believe it. Another can't miss item is the pumpkin lkibbeh.
My colleague and I come to Alexandria for a meeting once a year. She's a vegetarian. For the past two years we have asked our waiter to select foods for us. The food is outstanding and we are already looking forward to next year!
