I hate to leave a bad review but this place is not worth the hype at all. If you have to wait in line for over 30 minutes in the cold and then pay $40 PER pie, the pie better be out of this world. I got the apple crumble which was mid at best, and the regular pumpkin pie which tasted BURNT š I was incredibly disappointed. Save time and money and get a better tasting pie at the grocery store.

Went in at 11AM today and there was a line. I got yelled at for having the door open as the line went outside and was told to shut it. Before I shut it I heard someone ask if there were anymore pies left, but there were only 2 left. I ended up leaving. Probably wonāt come back hereā¦I didnāt deserve to be yelled at for the door and it was a bummer there was nothing really left at 11 AM, especially because they are open till 6PM.

Lotās of cool pies to try here. I didnāt have the capacity for pie so I tried the blueberry scone and chocolate chip cookie.
The scone was fantastic with fresh blueberries and crisp sugar crust.
The chocolate chip cookie was slightly crisp on the edges and very much soft and chewy in the middle. It was so good, highly recommend.

Definitely need to know what you want before you arrive as the person taking our order us was somewhat impatient with us when we arrived. The rest of the staff was nice though.
The scones were delicious and cookies were okay. The fruit pies are amazing!!! Definitely where I will get a pie next year on Pie day.
Parking is non-existent.

Would you believe me if I told you I prayed to find a good pie spot?! I refused to just walk in any pie spot since I moved to VA. I passed by one day and luckily Erik picked up the phone while I was driving by. I was really looking forward to a berry pie so bad. The ladies in the car told me I was crazy and that Erik would charge me $50 bucks. š He said āKenia we start off at $30.ā I said Look at God!ā He was so kind on the phone. I asked him when he worked next and before you know Mordecai and I was in the shop getting a pie. They didnāt have any berry pie because the season of course has ended. But One bite of that pumpkin pie put me in a forever customer spot! Very well cooked! Erik thank you for simply being so kind to me and Mordecai! And also thank you for already having his name written correctly on his treat before we even showed up! May something good come your way in exchange ā„ļø one day Iāll get my berry pie in due time 𤣠Erik.
Mordecai and I will be back! ā„ļø

Super cute, food is great. Inside is a bit small but it was beautiful outside and there are a couple tables there to use. Service was excellent. Not much parking

Some of the best pie in the area! They have good, simple pie flavors with fresh ingredients. Itās super cool that you get to see their pie dough being rolled out as you order. Make sure to check the menu beforehand to see whatās in stock. They often will have mini-pies if youāre just hoping for a snack, but you should call ahead of time to know which ones they have. They have seasonal fruit pies that are very good. Highly recommend the peach blackberry, blueberry nectarine, and triple berry pies. If you like chocolate, you should try the Mile High Chocolate Pie. Also have great cookies, quiches and an absolutely incredible maple cinnamon roll!

One of my favorite local businesses. Mainly pies but also have tasty cookies, scones and savory options. Always try to pop by when Iām in the area or want a treat. Favorites include the chocolate chip cookie, ginger molasses cookie, chicken pot pie, Carmel chocolate chess pie, and Mike high pie (Iām a chocolate lover). Everything else Iāve tried is tasty, those are just my personal favorites.

Randomly was craving key lime pie and I went by and ordered a slice along with a bacon quiche and a chocolate chip cookie for testing purposes and everything was so good! Honestly shocked bc I have had not so great luck with other local bakeries. Theyāve got a new regular in me

I came here because I saw someone review the chocolate chip cookie. I can attest that it is indeed an amazing cookie. As you can see, I may have gone a little overboard on ordering. The banana cream pie and the banana pudding were both delicious. The rice Krispy treat was solid but the sambusa was the star of the show. I arrived a few minutes before they came out of the oven and it was fresh out of the oven when I ate it. I would 100% recommend. Perfect for someone whoās seeking something savory.
Lastly, the staff were superb. Super friendly and extremely kind. They answer every question you may have, pay attention to detail, and are all genuinely happy to be there. Donāt let your bad day ruin theirs.
Edit: now that Iāve tried the quiche, I would put that near the top of everything I bought, even if eaten a day or two later.

I visited this place for the first time last weekend, as long as I have been living in Virginia, why I didnāt know about this hidden gem.
I went there for an Apple Pie, they informed that itās not Apple season. I was surprised about their honesty and how they take pride on their ingredients they use.
I was there for about 20 minutes, couldnāt decide after then, they were patient, told me to take my time, and it was a busy Saturday morning.
I brought a Pecan Pie, slices of Key Lime and a Peace pie. Every one that had a slice was amazed on how good they were.
I canāt wait to go back this weekend.
Thanks for the best pies I have ever had and the such excellent customer service.
The person who was slicing all that butter/not sure if sheās the owner.
Her smile and her demeanor makes you want to come back.

Iāve been a fan of these pies since before the shop existed, back when it was just two incredibly talented women selling at local farmers markets. Now, nearly a decade into their charming storefront, the selection has only gotten better (and bigger). Their apple and peach pies are classic favorites, but the brown butter coconut is something special. Itās rich, perfectly balanced, and honestly, one of the best pies Iāve ever had. One of the most unexpected hits is the seasonal tomato pie. Iāve been giving it to my tomato-loving mom for years, and it never disappoints. Itās not only beautiful to look at⦠those layered tomato slices with herbs and cheese are a work of art but the flavor is next-level. Savory, fresh, and unforgettable. Whenever Iām hosting, I stop in for a quiche, theyāre always packed with flavor and made with the same care as everything else here. Their crust is buttery, flaky, and absolutely perfect. You can tell just how much attention and love goes into every single item. This bakery is a true neighborhood gem. From the sweet to the savory, everything they make is done with heart - and it shows.
