I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped by Mae’s Market and Café in Arlington. The breakfast burrito was excellent. It was definitely on the pricier side, but totally worth it for a strong, satisfying breakfast. I paired it with a Mexican Coke, making it a perfect combo.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the space has a cozy, neighborhood feel that makes you want to linger a bit longer. Parking can be tricky, but if you’re willing to pay, there are several garages nearby. Overall, an excellent spot for breakfast or brunch and one I’d happily return to.

This place simply isn’t worth spending your money. Very average food for extremely poor value. Their prices are a bit crazy for what you get. Nothing wrong with their food if it was priced 30% less. The sandwich and wraps we had were fine but nothing special, but an average sandwich without a side or bag of chips for $17 just doesn’t make much sense, even in Arlington. The food quality and price very much reminded us of a grab and go sandwich shop in an airport - it’s ok but simply not worth the price. Our meal was over $50 for 2 sandwiches (no sides) and 2 coffees. On the plus side, the employees and service were very good and the atmosphere was too.

Out of drip coffee, and no WiFi. Not a great local coffee shop vibe

Would love to give more than one star but unfortunately the hours of operations are false all over the internet. If it was around 6 pm I’d understand but 4 pm? Come on, you have to be better than that especially when they had an employee inside blasting music and did not seem like she cared. Oh and we paid for parking on the street and we were with a baby.

I came in to the café at 6:10 and they were closed when their hours says 7 o’clock!

Came in at a little past 2:30pm on Friday, 8/22, and attempted to order a latte and get some work done. Was told there was no espresso, and that they were closing in less than an hour when their posted hours said they were open until 7pm. I had gone out of my way to support a a local place and just ended up wasting my time.

I came here for breakfast this morning and spent about $35. I ordered a matcha for around $7 and we sat outside since there were no seats available inside. Unfortunately, the outdoor seating area had a lot of flies. Right after sitting down, a fly went straight into my matcha before I even took a sip. I went inside and politely asked for a replacement, but the staff member with glasses told me they couldn’t give me a new one since I was sitting outside. For the price point, I expected better customer service—this is basic Customer Service 101.

Great breakfast sandwich, cozy vibe, just one tiny issue, or none if you’re into airborne espresso. The barista (in a cap) was clearly unwell and sneezing non-stop like an off-key whistle in a tunnel directly toward drinks, no attempt to cover up. My friend’s latte came with a shot of germs. If we start coughing soon, we know who to thank. A+ for ambiance, F for hygiene.

The coffee was superb! The quiche was amazing, seriously full of flavor! Great customer service and recommendations from the staff.

Expensive but worth it!

Sloppy service. Website said they were open and we were able to place an online order for pickup. The credit card was charged. However, when we arrived to pick up the order, the place was closed. Would have liked to try this place, except I don’t know when they’re open. The website is obviously wrong and there’s not even a sign on the door posting the hours.
