A welcome un-hurried atmosphere, pleasant knowledgeable staff with excellent. Biggest annoyance is having this 50-character minimum.
I have tried several dishes and the food here is consistently superior to comparable restaurants. Although the service was a little slow toward the end because the staff was preparing for close, we did not mind. They comped us dessert because of this, which was not necessary but we greatly appreciated!
Very impressed with the food and service at Maison Cheryl. It's a French restaurant with excellent portions of food from starters (appetizers) to entrees (main courses) to desserts. And yes our party had a bunch of foodies, so we tried our best! The Duck and the swordfish were especially delicious for mains and the desserts were yummy. I shared the escargot with my wife to leave room for sharing of dessert. We had a lovely waitress who was attentive to our party on a relatively quiet Tuesday evening. I highly recommend for a nice evening out in Arlington, VA.
We had a lovely time at Maison Cheryl and Trevor was an excellent server! He walked us through the menu and was helpful giving allergen advice! Can't wait to go back!
First time we ate at Maison Cheryl, and we could not have been more pleased! The winter salad with squash and pumpkin seeds and pomegrante seeds was teriffic, and the duck was, actually, the best I've ever had at a restaurant - crispy skin, perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the tempura-crusted swordfish and couldn't stop raving about it. We will definitely return! Only one thing - the address says the place is on Wilson Blvd., but it is actually on Filmore Street.
Food was ok. Didn't blow me away and wouldn't crave having it again. The prices on the menu did not match the prices on the online menu. Lackluster.
Had a lovely lunch at maison Cheryl. Staff is so responsive. Brunch was yummy. I've eaten here both for lunch and dinner. Lovely place. Will be back
Food was fantastic. The seasonal salad with salmon was awesome. So was the Brie omelette. Nice little place and loved the Christmas decor.
We had a wonderful meal here! The bucatini with fried burrata was delicious and the drink selection was fantastic. Great spot for a memorable date night.
Maiden Cheryl is a very cute bistro. The Christmas decorations were lovely and our service was just right. I had a brie omelette with hashbrowns, which was very good and my friend had a salmon salad which she also enjoyed. There is also a make your own mimosas option. For $15 you get a bottle of Prosecco and a choice of three juices. We shared the bottle which midday wasn't such a great idea, but it was very tasty anyway!

We had such a lovely lunch. They make an excellent French 75 and the food was delicious. Great combination of flavors and so fresh. Our server was perfect. We can't wait to go back for dinner with our spouses!
Great experience - only a couple staff working the front, but there was no service problems at all. They were exactly as attentive as we wanted, with outstanding service. The ambiance was great - several tables, but quiet and relaxed. The food was very good.
The duck breast entree was excellent. The soup was good not great. The service was poor. This is the only French restaurant I was able to find near the Clarendon area, I expect French restaurants to be a good experience. That starts with service. If I have to wait 20 minutes to receive my first glass of wine, that's too long, especially in a place this small. The French are known for fine dining, so I would have expected the salmon to be wild caught, not farm raised. The wine servings also seemed on the small side.
The steak au poivre was excellent, the fries were very crispy and too salty/ not French style at all if you're expecting steak frites. Very pricey for portion size.
We were here for Thanksgiving. The food was great. Do not drink the tap water.
