My husband and I love Maison Cheryl. The food is very authentic and always top quality. The staff is always so friendly and I love that the chef is always freshening the menu. We hosted my bridal shower here and it was SO fabulous!

Took my son there to celebrate his birthday. Reservations were easy. Staff was AMAZING! The food was excellent, from the frog legs to the Wagyu burgers to the steaks, not a disappointed person at all. Espresso martinis were good as well. I enjoyed the wine selection. The restaurant is also located in a great location. I’ve already recommended to many people.

We had brunch at MC; it was our first visit, and we would go back for brunch, tea, lunch, or dinner. Four stars, only because parts of our order were mixed up, one of our 8 orders (Nutella Toast) was kind of a hot mess, and the Earl Grey martini was overwhelmed by amaretto flavor. Nice dining room, lots of nearby parking, super friendly staff, comparable to area prices.

Our server Rebecca was informative, efficient and very nice. We had a lovely fall salad and the honey truffle chicken. The ambiance is modern and yet cozy. We were early on a Friday so it started out very quiet -- it was hopping by the time we left at 8:15. Nice bar area too.

We dined at Maison Cheryl for a friend's birthday. It was outstanding! Two of our party had the duck, which they said was perfectly cooked. I had the bucatini with burrata pasta, which was fantastic. The food is creative and delicious. The service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

We were joined by our out-of-town friends for our first dinner at this restaurant. My wife and I split a Caesar salad, she had a glass of French Pinot Noir, Ratatouille & Parmesan Polenta and Grand Marnier Pot de Creme. With the exception of no Grand Marnier flavor in her dessert, everything was outstanding. I had Tofu with a red curry sauce and the triple chocolate tart, which were outstanding. One of our friends had the Bat Scallop & Shrimp Orecchiette & the other had Truffle Wagyu Burger, which they both raved about. Our service was excellent. Web plan on returning in the future.

I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt. Their real estate is not the most workable for a restaurant. Exposed HVAC, inconsistent lighting, and Ikea-grade decor all try for a French eclectic, but in reality felt like a confused garage. The wait staff was friendly but seemed short-staffed. The waitress did not represent the restaurant in the best light. After informing us that the oxtail was no longer available even though it was listed on the menu, the waitress said, "But you aren't missing much." This did not bode well for our food. Other than that, they were friendly and did not do anything egregious. People on here complain about pouring their own water, but I appreciate this because we actually got time to enjoy our conversation. The experience with food was confusing because the menu listed "Autumn" as the season. It's February. The phrasing of the menu made everything seem upscale and fancy, but the presentation and taste were underwhelming. We got the truffle fries and baked brie. The truffle fries were the best thing we had, but the baked brie was not good - messy, bad presentation, and with charred baguette that completely masked the flavor of the brie. For entrees we got the duck and the wagyu burger. The duck was supposed to come with a blackberry sauce that in reality was just some broth with blackberries thrown on top. It came with bread pudding and fried zucchini (both okay), but it made for a very heavy entree. The duck itself was not good. The wagyu burger was redeeming in that it was interesting. Never tried something like that before. Decent and worth the price. We got the madeleines for dessert - a more positive end after the duck entree, especially the cream.Overall, we had a fine experience, but not one worth repeating. There are plenty of other places in the area where you can get a better atmosphere and better food at a better price.

If prices were half as large, this restaurant might have a shot. The combination of the terrible service (not crowded, Sunday night, lots of staff available), mediocre food, and outlandish prices is not a winner.

We love Maison Cheryl. It is one of our favorite places in Arlington and we go there a LOT. We usually sit at the bar and the service is fantastic and the food is always consistent. But it seems like they are understaffed for the weekend rush. Service is super slow. And, I ordered the french omelette, which had great flavor, but it was not a french omelette at all. It wasn't light and fluffy as french omelettes should be. I think we will stick to just hanging at the bar from now on and not go with a large group and eat in the dining room.

We came to Maison Cheryl for our anniversary dinner and we enjoyed our time. The food was delicious, however on the smaller side. I had the pomegranate mocktail and I absolutely LOVED it. The autumn fizz cocktail was also very good. We would come back again, but maybe for lunch instead.

Overall, we had a good dining experience. Seating is a bit awkward in some places (your table neighbors need to scoot in so you can sit). Food was good overall, though menu had missing items like the oxtail. We would def eat there again.

Friendly and accommodating. Wine was pleasant. Food was average. Nothing special about the wagyu burger with Brie. Olives appetizer looked like canned Kalamata olives plopped into a different dish. French fries served over one of those metallic trays you would get at a brewery food cart. At least the bread was delicious.

Don Giovanni

Not real French and not real good. The appetizers are ok but the main dishes are terrible. The bouillabaisse has nothing to do with the real dish. It is basically a mussel pot. The scallops is basically a pasta dish with scallop buttons. For a French restaurant, or even French inspired, they have a very short wine list. Worse of all is that they add 22% gratuity for a n9on-existent service. I basically had to pour water and wine for all the guests at the table. They did not even clear the plates from the appetizers until after the main dish was served. Never again.

Had a wonderful dinner here with my husband & 3 other couples. I had the salmon entree which came with a succotash veggie mix in a cream sauce. Was so good. The others have said their meals were so delicious & pleased by the quality of the food. We'd all come back. One item - parking was either paid parking on the street or paid parking in a garage.
