We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us

Very good. Walked in on Friday night and was able to get a table in about 10 minutes. Party of 6 and everyone's food was great. We had a great server. Loved the MAGICAL SAGE drink.

I went to Makers Union for brunch and it was great. We got the unlimited brunch and got the kale Cesar salad, the Brussels sprouts and the Nashville tenders along with the French toast, chicken and waffles and crab cakes. The Brussels sprouts were the most delicious vegetables I've had in a long time and everything else was also great! The staff was also extremely helpful and very accommodating!

The food was good, but I would be aware of the food you order. I ordered the mixed berries pancakes but the berries were basically just a garnish. The server was clearly training as they were a pair without our service experience. I asked how the mixed berry pancakes only comes with only 3 berries and one looks to the other "is that what it's supposed to come with". The waitress mentioned "well that's what they put on it" (basic cop out) -- neither of them knew what was supposed to be served. But ended up coming to the conclusion to bring me more berries for the mixed berries pancakes (kinda the whole point) it's like getting 3 pancakes with 1 chocolate chip per each pancake which obviously isn't the same as chocolate chip pancakes. I searched previously posted pics as a back up but they brought out more berries and did not bother to charge extra which is what I expected after their response. It was a fine experience. The vibe was nice. Nothing much else to mention.

We had great bad service and food during social hour. The place can be s as little noisy as it gets fuller. We've been here several times and lived the food, the servers, and the drinks each time. Great place down the street from us and we enjoy our visits.

They keep you waiting and waiting as if they don't want your business. Well, the feeling is mutual now. I witnessed two patrons get up and leave without being served.

Enjoyed a delightful dining experience at Makers Union in Arlington, Virginia. The food was top-notch, offering a delicious array of options. While the atmosphere was decent, the stand out was definitely the exceptional service. Attentive and friendly staff made our visit truly memorable. Would recommend for a tasty meal with excellent service.

Came here for brunch at 1:30 on a Sunday and were immediately told they had run out of mimosas. We tried to order a carafe of sangria instead and were told they had run out of that as well. We tried again to order a bottle of sparkling rose - it took them 15 minutes to even find the bottle which hadn’t been chilled. By the time it was brought to our table we had finished an appetizer and had just been served our entrees. Because the bottle was still warm we told them we had changed our minds (bottle wasn’t opened yet). A few minutes later the waiter came back and said he was mistaken on mimosas and they did actually have them. He encouraged us to get some, we decided to do one rather than the bottomless. The mimosas were delivered as our food was being cleared. We expected some sort of acknowledgement for the significant miscommunication on drinks and the timing, while our waiter was very nice, we didn’t really get that acknowledgement. Additionally, for $45 a person for a shared app, one drink, and an entree, none of the food was very food. Our time and money would’ve been better spent at Good Company next door getting grab and go donuts/sandwiches.

Terrific day to sit outside on their patio and have a nice conversation while eating a late lunch. I had the Tuna Poke Bowl and share the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. Everything was fantastic and server was friendly and attentive.

After class, we stopped by to grab a bite and had an enjoyable brunch. Our server, Dan, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations that we enjoyed. The food was good and the kitchen was accommodating to our request to remove the glaze from the ham, which was a good cut and very tasty. We had a pleasurable time at the establishment, but the seating process was a bit rough. Although the young lady who was seating people was amiable, it took too long for us to be seated. We waited patiently, and we asked for a specific table out of the doorway, and the person who said he would check if there was a reservation never came back. Additionally, when we asked the young lady again about another particular table, she mentioned she was expecting a larger group and didn't want to give us a table for four. After we were seated at a table away from the door as requested, we watched her split the table for 4 for a couple of 2. Therefore, the inconsistencies in greeting and seating people could use some work. Despite this, I would recommend this place and try it again.

Lunch for three on a weekday. Had the salmon which was amazing. Very generous piece of fish. One dining companion had the steak frites which I coveted. I would come back and try it.

Really delicious meal and enjoyable experience. Great service despite the lunch crowd, our food arrived quickly and warm. Excellent flavors and combinations. We had the nachos, flat iron steak & fries and Moroccan 'impossible' kabobs. The spices and combinations were delicious! We will definitely return!
