The drunken noodles were 10/10. Very spicy just like I like it. Just get em, you won't be disappointed

"Thai Select" more like I wish I selected something else. I ordered take out from Uber Eats. I paid an additional $2 for crispy chicken for my Massamun curry and it was just left out. But thank heavens I got the curry and the most minimal amount of vegetables. You can literally count 2 cubes of potatoes and 2 slices of carrots. The Tom kha was edible. Overall, I wish this place the best and I hope it gets better.

Very utilitarian Thai place with not much ambiance, but food was good. I was disappointed in the ThaiRama, though. I ordered it with tofu, which was fine, but the "bed of steamed vegetables" consisted of 1 small broccoli floret, two or three matchstick carrot pieces, and the rest some kind of lettuce or cabbage. Tasty, but I was looking for more in the veggie department. I threw a bunch of spinach into the leftovers and at least got some better nutrition on day 2!

So, I'm tired of poor customer service from this restaurant!! I moved from another state currently. Just trying this restaurant and ordered a eggplant entree with white rice. I was very hungry and wanted to dine in. The staff gave me take out. When I dine in, another staff looked like unhappy, and he saw I had a takeout plastic bag and he believe I should "Take out "instead of "Dine in". And then I asked a hot water caused by the inclument weather. He looked like unhappy and ignored my requests. He was implite and never saied ''SORRY" to me! The staffs did not respect new customers like me. (This is my first time to try this restaurant and I will never return. So bad experiences at Thai Select.)

Edit: their Uber eats name is mandarin express: and they suck. Ordered Tom kha soup and red curry around 9pm off Uber eats. The Tom kha tasted like vomit - a very serious strong vomit taste. 5/100 The red curry was ok. 60/100. Oof, that soup was rough

The food is okay -- not horrible, but certainly not delicious either. It just hits the spot when you're hungry and since options are limited in the area, this is a decent spot to add to your rotation. But my disappointment comes not from the food per se. It's from the service. I walked in for a late lunch around 2:30p, ordering take out. I saw they had a lunch combination of half chicken pad thai and half chicken panang curry. Substitutions (meat upgrades) were not allowed, which seemed weird to me. You can't even pay extra to get beef or shrimp? The combo seems like a way to get rid of their chicken as most will probably order beef or shrimp in their dishes anyway. The food came out promptly, already wrapped in a plastic bag for me. I walked the half mile back to where I was going. When I opened my food, it looked like they forgot to give me my pad thai and only gave me my curry. I was so annoyed. But then upon closer inspection, I realized they did give me both... but for some reason they packed it in a plastic container with two compartments, one with pad thai and the other with curry... on my walk, much of the curry had spilled over into my pad thai, essentially mixing the two dishes and turning my noodles into a noodle curry soup. I paid extra for the combo so I could have two different things and save some for later, but this pretty much ruined that hope. I understand that a combo plate comes with everything together but it is devoid of common sense to pack a curry and another item in the same container. Or at the very least, if you do it, let the customer know... they wrapped everything for me and just handed it to me. How was I supposed to know I needed to take extra care to not tilt the container?!? When I did eat the food, the curry was everywhere. The flavor was fine. The chicken was meh. The side of rice that came with the curry was not even warm and I think they pre-scoop rice into little containers for take-out orders. I can't really comment on the pad thai because it tasted like curry. I am pretty annoyed.

So So Disappointed. All the dishes (different ones) looked and tasted exactly the same - bland and very very greasy. Vegetables were conspicuous by their absence. It was all super cheap rice noodles and oil and more oil. We had made 1 request about the dish which was promptly ignored. Horrible service. Small Portion, Big Cost. Meh.

They advertise as Vegan mania on Postmates which in fact they are not vegan. My "vegan padthai with tofu" arrived with egg and fish sauce. Called the restaurant to complain their response was,"we have a new cook what do you want me to do". I want you to not advertise as a vegan restaurant. You can make people sick

Overpriced, small portions, and bland. Way better places than this place.

I had the combo dish of pad Thai and Panang curry. I like them both, but the curry was better than the pad Thai. The service and atmosphere both take a little of a hit because of the robust takeout curriers that were almost constantly walking in and out. Otherwise, clean local, food was above average.

Ordered for lunch and got the panang curry and pad Thai tofu. The curry portion was small but very flavorful - I got an extra order of rice too. Had a fair amount of chicken. The pad thai was sticky, oily and a weird flavor. The noodles were also a vermicelli like. I got the thai iced coffee and it was delicious. All in all I would order here again in a pinch but not get that pad thai.

I ordered pad Thai lunch combo that comes with dumplings and Tom yum soup. I also got kanom jeeb, mango and sticky rice. The pad Thai was super bland, no flavor. Dumplings were gross and doughy. Tom yum soup was ok. Kanom jeeb was tough and also lacked flavor. Mango was sweet but sticky rice was covered in large amount of cream sauce that was SUPER salty. The kind of salty that leaves your tongue numb. I honestly felt so nauseous after the meal. Do not recommend.

Ordered takeout from here twice, and the only reason I ordered the second time is because they have a ghost kitchen listed under "Mandarin Express" and I didn't realize it was the same place. Sweet and sour chicken was just some ok, non-breaded chicken tossed with some undercooked vegetables (which included tomatoes for some reason?) and drowning in a watered down sweet and sour sauce with no flavor, all accompanied by stale rice that appeared to have been cooked earlier that day and kept on a warmer. If you're just ordering pho or soup, it's fine, but if you want to get anything from the grill, look elsewhere

Traveling with our 4 kids (10-16). We visited Thai Select 2x. Best bang for the buck. Great service and delicious good fast. No kids menu, but the orange chicken was a hit.

I ordered the food to go and the portions were perfect. I love the combo because I could have two different amazing flavors to try. Also when they say spicy it actually is spicy!
