This is our favorite Matchbox location. I do meet there for business meetings but this was dinner after a Kennedy performance. We have a favorite table which we were able to get. Our server was excellent. Friendly and helpful offering suggestions when asked. The food was great. We had appetizers, ahi nachos and calamari. We had pizzas and salads, they are known for their pizza. We had beer with the pizza and finished with dessert. We did make reservations since it was Saturday night. Check it out.

Never again! 10th birthday dinner ruined. Waited 20mins for the server to just say hello. I get it short staffed but why did the mgr stop by all other tables except ours? Also why ask if we are celebrating anything if you won't even acknowledge. Won't be coming back here.

First time at this location and I was very disappointed. Took a long time for my server to greet me. I sat outside and it could've definitely been cleaner. Compared to the Capital Hill and Penn Quarter locations the food was very different. It wasn't as enjoyable of an experience as I'd liked it to be. Definitely room for improvement. Grits were burned and tasted as such; cinnamon roll wasn't done. However, my service was the best part of the experience for which I'm grateful. I received a poor review from a fraternity brother about this location and went in hopes of having a better experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, and I do not plan to go back.

Our experience was decent. We went for my wife's Birthday last night, Sep 5th! The waitress was a sweetheart, but at times it seemed like she forgot about us. After we sat, it took almost 10min before she even came to our table to get our drink order. When she arrived at our table, she even asked us, “Have you been waiting for a while?” Other than this slight issue with time, our experience overall wasn't to bad.

The popcorn was not freshly made. No one kept the popcorn machine going. The taco bar was all over the place didn't look fresh. My waiter and the servers was excellent & food portions was wonderful.

Booked the reservation day of, and showed up. We were seated upstairs and it was topping 100 degrees outside. They had two box fans, and apologized but told us as we were sitting that the AC was out and has been off and on for two months. Since it was a friend from out of town and we had limited time to catch up we stayed. Our waitress was trying her best but working in 90 degrees temps inside, had to be unbearable so we were patient. Ice water would be placed in the table and melt almost immediately. The food was ok. Not amazing. It was too hot for us to even try the waffle or taco station. We finally left and headed downstairs where the air was working. I spoke with someone who said they were the manager and he apologized and said he was giving the staff Gatorade but no acknowledgment of what we endured. I even questioned why they still were taking reservations and seating people. He said “oh come back and see me and I will take care of you” halfhearted and lackluster and no intro to who he was or card to even make good on his promise. $100+ bill I guess goes with the temps inside they cared nothing about. Don't think it's worth the price and the fact they treated customers that way and still took our money.

Great experience with unlimited brunch for 2 hours. The only criticism is that the food temperature was not to my liking. It could've been a little warmer.
Took my family to try the brunch at Matchbox in Pentagon City. Not sure if I'll ever go back to that location as I have been to the one in DC in Chinatown and had a better experience. Food was fair; however service was poor with long wait times

The staff are rude and not welcoming at all. It's another Brunch spot that looks down at other races to capitalize off of a race outside of theirs but could care less about the customer. The ultimate brunch is also a money grab. All people at the table can only choose so much. You find yourself Test tasting but not ordering all that you're suppose to. The champagne tower is full of us as well. All that to say, it was 4 on my list
