Food was ok but the waitress forced me to tip more than what I thought she deserved!!
I love how the staff stare into the paying machine during the tip section… worst service and not worth the price for the food.

This was one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve ever had. When the bill came, the staff leaned in way too close — almost hovering — and stared directly at my receipt as I was deciding on the tip. It felt like I was being watched and pressured, with zero privacy. When I tried to choose a custom tip amount, she cut me off and said, “People usually just give 18%,” without even letting me finish. It honestly felt like mafia-style pressure, and I’ve never felt so uncomfortable or disrespected at a restaurant before.
As for the food — my brother liked the curry, but the sushi roll portion was shockingly small. Like, embarrassingly small for the price.
This experience left me feeling upset and even a bit shaken. I hope management takes this seriously, because no one should be made to feel intimidated or cornered while simply trying to pay for their meal.
I was so uncomfortable that I just handed her $10 in cash to end the situation (the bill was $43 after tax, even though the service didn’t deserve it.

I only ate there once, but a while later my stomach was in an uproar and started to force it out my 6 o’clock. There was something not right with their food.
The options they do have are great! I like the veggie ramen and teriyaki tofu. However, BEWARE, because the menu is extremely misleading. Just because an item says “vegan” on it does not mean it is vegan - it means that it can be made vegan. So you should specifically request the item you order be made vegan. For example, the Agedashi Tofu comes with bonito flakes (made from fish) despite saying “vegan” under it.
The waitresses here are Korean. They are very impolite. They would curse in Korean and even force me to tip more than 20%.

Great place for sushi at the airport. The service is quick and efficient. For a starter, I had the crab wontons which were delicious and had more filling than others I’ve had. For my main, I choose the Chesapeake roll, the crab and cream cheese were excellent. Good drink selection and don’t forget to get some Sake.

Meh, just skip this place. Pretty bad what we had. Not sure if the sushi would be any better. Try at your own risk but you won’t ever catch me there again.
Service is good but food is mediocre at best. Sushi grade fish should melt in you mouth, theirs does not. Also had a noodle dish that was pretty bland
There are many great food options at National Airport. For a sit down experience, go to Matsutake Sushi. The wait for a table on a Wednesday afternoon in June wasn't long. Service is speedy.
If you like cream cheese, get the Buffalo Shrimp sushi. It's shrimp tempura with cream cheese, sriracha, mayo, and a few other items. It's tasty!
I enjoyed their Sauvignon Blanc for a refreshing option before a long flight to Seattle.

I didn't think that airport food can be that good! Fresh, tastes great, fast, and reasonably priced.

I hesitantly walked into the sushi restaurant when I was in Reagan National airport. After a business trip. My flight had been delayed and I had extra time. I didn't expect much, but everything was delicious! My sushi roll was excellent, and the chili oil edamame, although being the messiest thing I've ever eaten in my life, was excellent and A very nice size portion. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly and didn't rush me when my flight was delayed and I stayed longer. All in all, an extremely good experience for an airport restaurant. Highly recommended.

Ramen sucks. Those are cheap ramen you can buy from the supermarket shelf. Totally overpriced. Please avoid this area or at least avoid ramen.
