Excellent sushi for an airport that is. Decently sized rolls and good miso soup. Great for a quick meal that isn't your typical airport processed fast food. Recommend!

I ordered miso soup and beef fried rice. They got the miso out alright but I had to wait an hour for my rice to come. They gave me seaweed salad to make up for it but I didn't order that nor did I like it. When they delivered the rice they got it wrong and slid the dish on the table and left without a say. Felt really disrespectful and had to take out all the chicken and eat the rice. They confronted me and I told them the order I asked for, I told them it was OK and wanted to eat the rice as is. They decided to cook up a huge batch of beef to put on my rice. They changed me for the chicken that I didn't order and took off the beef I originally asked for. Not very happy with the hospitality either.

The ramen was tasty and not salty, exceeding my low expectations for airport restaurants.
It was a bit pricey but not unreasonable, considering typical airport restaurant prices.
I will visit here whenever I go to DCA.

In my opinion , much better than average or expected. I’d come back
environment was calm and neat (demure and mindful). service was great. everyone including chef was warm, welcoming.
surprisingly they had uni from California which tasted so fresh with slight sweetness. the amount of food was satisfying as well. the containers were tiny cute cups sculpted from cucumber which brought the natural refreshing smell.
uni was $15 a piece. other sushi/sashimi on the menu had decent price.

Great sushi in the airport! I got the dynamite roll. It was dynamite! I enjoyed thoroughly. They got me in and out quickly so I could have a real meal and make my connection.

Pretty surprising to find a very authentic Japanese restaurant inside an airport. Had the tonkatsu ramen, the broth was thick and tasty, the chat Siew was tender, perfectly cooked and grilled. Service was good and fast. The chefs behind the counter are japanese and look like senior master chefs. The sushis were done perfectly. Worth the airport price you had to pay.

Google maps and the official airport website both say this restaurant is open until 9PM but I arrived at 8pm and was told it was closed.
Terrible service. They kinda made me pick a drink they wanted, which cost $17. Then I asked for water twice, which they didn’t bring. I ordered food. A half an hour later, people who sat down after me got their food and all I had was a drink. Eventually I started looking around so they asked me if I ordered anything. I said yes and water. They eventually brought me water and asked me which order was mine. None of the ones they showed me were mine. They had to retake my order. Then they brought me the wrong food! And I had to ask for the right food, they lost my order again. Eventually they brought it to me and it wasn’t even that good and it was overpriced. They had the nerve to charge my full price and I like an idiot still tipped $3. I felt pressed because they watched as I put in the tip. There was no attempt to make this right at all. I don’t recommend, they don’t care.

Everything to choose from in DCA airport and I was drawn to stop here by my gate in Terminal 2 Gate C. Cute little place with the friendliest staff. Enjoyed my layover and rested and refreshed with some excellent Sushi. I had the Shrimp Tempuri Roll and the Crunchy Tuna Roll. You won’t be hungry when you leave! I almost needed a fork and knife. If you have an uneasy stomach when you fly…stop here and eat some ginger! It does wonders. Great find. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Come try it! Many items besides sushi. Vegan options. Hibachi options.
