Had dinner at Maya Bistro. Had not been there for a while. Great service from Ali. Food is still excellent. We received complimentary hot, delectable pita bread with olive tapenade. The red lentil soup was delicious and served hot like soup should be. We shared 2 dishes and both were delicious. Orange & beet salad on a potato puree with olive oil and lemon and sprinkled with walnuts & onions. Yum! And very tender pieces of chicken with yogurt on bread and also with grilled bell peppers, jalapeño and tomato. So good.

Restaurant has pleasant low lighting, nice bar, very clean, cloth napkins.

An enjoyable experience. Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu!

Honestly, I’m surprised this place has such a high rating. We ordered mixed grill and lahmacun. The lahmacun had nothing to do with the real thing — it was just ground meat on a thick pizza-like dough. In the mixed grill, the Adana kebabs were undercooked, so we sent them back, and the replacement came overcooked and dry 😂. This place completely misrepresents Turkish cuisine. I recommend staying away — there are much better options out there.

Delicious Chicken Shish dinner at a reasonable price. Our table also ordered the two person Mix meat platter: also very good. The vegetables were very good and very fresh.

I’ve been to Maya Bistro on multiple occasions, and one dish I can’t stop recommending is the Moussaka. The layers of roasted eggplant with beef, lamb, and béchamel are so flavorful and comforting. The atmosphere is cozy, the prices are reasonable, and the menu has a nice variety that makes it easy to find something for everyone. I always leave satisfied, but the Moussaka is what keeps me coming back.

Great food and service and nice outside seating (just a little noisy from the road traffic but still very nice)

Staff was very polite and engaged with our family the whole time. Meat and Adana was a bit tough to chew but the chicken and lamb were very tender.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Good food, always consistent, and friendly service. Can't beat the mezze for two!

One of the best meals we have had in awhile. the Lamb was done perfectly and the beet salad to die for.

Not sure what all the hype is about. I ordered the Salmon and it was under seasoned and over cooked. Seemed like it was from an individual package or something. I never seem Salmon served this way.

The rest of our food was okay but nothing great. The place is also a bit overpriced for what you get in the burbs.
