We were about 10 minutes late for our reservations due to having to park in the snow and ice. Then we waited about 25 minutes to be seated. We then got a nice table and our waitress was nice. Salad and bread and wine were reasonably well timed. Our first serving was a little light on steak but that's ok. We were then done and awaiting our refill for about 20 minutes AFTER we had finished everything else. By the time we got it I was really finished! Too long of a wait by far, on the front and back end!

If you are in the mood for steak frites, this is the place to go! I could bathe in their secret sauce.... I even brought a pint home. It's a bit on the cold and industrial side, but for the price you can't beat it!

The food and service at Medium Rare were fantastic. The steak was perfectly cooked and the fries were hot. The service team always made sure our drinks were full and cleared the dishes regularly. We will definitely be back!

Today was a gloomy, gray and melancholy day. That was until I met Daniel at Medium Rare. From start to finish I was met with an unprecedented level of care, professionalism, and awesomeness. Keep it up Daniel, and go medium rare.

Staff was very nice and service was also excellent. I knew the concept going in. I would prefer a higher quality steak, especially for the price. I did not care for their famous sauce, but my date really liked it. I would go back if someone wanted to try it.

I took my two young grandsons here because I was told it was a favorite place so I didn't look at the menu beforehand. That's on me, but meant I was surprised that it was one fixed meal offering at a fixed price - no choices (except you could get sauce on the side, for which I was surprised to be charged $4 extra). You get a nice salad but mainly made of lettuce and a few cherry tomatoes, chunk bread and butter, and thin sliced steak and fries. The meat was acceptable and the fries were good. The price was reasonable for what you get, and they sent us home with the “extra meat and fries” since we didn't want seconds. For three people it was just over $110, not including tip. We were greeted warmly and the wait staff was pleasant and helpful. It wasn't crowded so the noise level was acceptable. I could t say how loud it would be with a full house. It's not a place I'd choose to go back to since I prefer to have a choice, unless my grands were excited to go, and mainly for a special treat for them. Which is what grandmas like to do!
