One of the best spots I’ve ever been too! Food is AMAZING and music is so great. It’s not too loud (like a night club) but it’s perfect selection. Everyone should come check out this spot

My husband and I stopped at Nettie's Tavern to have brunch in Clarendon, Arlington, VA, on Saturday. We'd never eaten there before. The restaurant was not busy - five tables. We were seated at a table that had food smeared on the floor. The hostess didn't notice. I carefully arranged my feet so I wouldn't get the food on my shoes. We ordered brunch and coffee. When the coffee came, it was cold. My husband didn't want me to make a fuss, so we drank it. Then the food came - the 2 pancakes - $20 - were nothing special. The sour blueberries on top needed to be scraped off. The waitstaff asked if we wanted more coffee. We said yes but I told her the first cup had been cold. She said nothing - walked away. When she didn't return in 15 minutes, I asked the person at the bar if she could check of the coffee. She said they were brewing a fresh pot. Minutes later the coffee arrived - cold!!! Service in this restaurant was not good, added to the mediocre food and two servings of cold coffee and we will cross the street next time and eat at Ambar Clarendon!

The best popcorn I’ve ever had greets you at the table. The menu has something for everyone. Great Caesar salad and burger. Fries are ridiculous! There are so many other things I want to try! This is a great neighborhood place. Can’t wait to try the short rib grilled cheese!

I went to this location back in August and I thought that this spot was going to be great. The management was very friendly and the servers were extremely attentive. The food was delicious and the drinks were refreshing.
I visited yesterday and the place is horrible. The management has changed and my experience was horrible. I waited 30 minutes for anyone to bring popcorn. I had to wait an extra 10 for water and we never received our appetizer which was the bbq wings. I ordered the burger and fries. The burger was raw inside when I asked for medium well. My husband ordered the chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was extremely overcooked. The Nettie’s Tea that I ordered was disgusting and tasted like dirty water with alcohol. It was not busy at all so I don’t understand why we had to wait so long for everything. We wont ever be back.
The only good part of the this location is Tim the manager. He actually cares about the guests.
