I’m so sad I didn’t try this place sooner. Really great microbrewery with really high quality beer. Would highly recommend any of the IPAs, all are delicious! Super cute and tucked away location with free 2-hour parking around the corner. Cheers!

Love that New District Brewing Company allows dogs on certain days. It’s the perfect place to relax after a walk in the dog park. They also let my real estate team host a buyer seminar. It was a huge success!

This place has so much potential; from the beautiful building to the spacious room to work with, to limitless possibilities as to what to brew. We checked this place out while visiting out of town and hitting up a few great breweries in Maryland the day before. Sadly, it didn’t deliver. The beer menu was quite generic looking and somewhat limited. The space inside looked like someone didn’t care all that much.

Great beer! Great selection and love their IPA. Their Paddleboard beer is also amazing. Will come back soon.

The Ginger Saison is great - strong ginger flavor. The Paddleboarder was also good - great pineapple finish that cuts the sometimes bitter citrus. Good prices all around but do take note there's no food available - just chips & salsa. Great place to take your dogs - every table had at least one dog.

If you're a fan of beer and dogs, this is your spot. Stopped by for a quick pint on a Saturday night and the place was busy and full of pups. The beer list is limited but seating is ample. The beer itself wasn't anything to get excited about, but it wasn't bad. It's in an odd location but has a small parking lot nearby that ties into the dog park.

There was plenty of parking in around the place but the building did seem out of place. The place is rather small and there were not a ton of selections there but the service was nice and they were big on having your dogs there. The beers were ok but I do not know if I were going to a brewery I would probably not have this one at the top of my list.

Great brewery and dog friendly! Highly recommend the National Landing IPA

This was our first time visiting a brewery and we were excited for the experience. We found that the inside of the building in itself is welcoming and the drinks were nice but the customer service -specifically from the young blonde bartender-leaves a lot to be desired. She is rude and made unnecessary comments to our group. To give an example, I asked if she had any ice and she stared at me and in a condescending tone said “this is a brewery, we don’t have ice.” Well, sorry that I didn’t know? Certainly there were nicer ways of educating me. Again, this is one of several unprofessional comments she made. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but considering she’s in a customer-facing position, the jabs she made were completely uncalled for and seriously damaged our opinion of New District Brewing Co.

On a Saturday in late November, my boyfriend and I checked out New District Brewing. When we arrived, we were surprised that there was no food truck there. When we asked whether one would show up, we were told there's no set schedule. We shared a $11 Flight of National Landing (Hazy IPA), Dog Park Days (Hazy DIPA), Peach Wheat Sour, and Pineapple Sour. Among the 4 tasters, my boyfriend enjoyed the National Landing Hazy IPA the most. It was smooth and citrusy. The Dog Park Days Hazy DIPA was more hoppy. Between the two sour ales, I enjoyed the Peach Wheat Sour more. It was subtle, peachy, tart, and refreshing. The Pineapple Sour was smooth and sour.
Small warehouse style brewery with lots of space to stand or sit. Limited food on site but you are welcome to bring your own. Very limited draft list - which is not necessarily a knock but it definitely doesn't cater to beer fans of all styles. Dog friendly and staff (are) friendly.

The beers are good, though it’s a short list. The problem is the vibe. It’s next to a dog park, so everyone is compelled to bring their dogs. Rule 7 says Dogs who bark excessively must be tied up outside. The patrons with misbehaving dogs don’t care because the staff doesn’t stay anything. Makes it suck for the rest of us.

This is another great brewery just off the Washington & Old Dominion bike trail. Plenty off cyclists stop here for a brew. This place has a nice neighborhood feel with friendly staff. There is a dog park nearby. Parking was not an issue. I enjoyed the Dog Park Days hazy DIPA.

Decent beer, fantastic staff, and a perfect location with the dog park and W&OD. There are several breweries in Alexandria and this is my go-to if I just want to grab a drink and relax. My one critique is that the website desperately needs to be updated. A reliable listing of beer on tap would be a big help.

Great variety of beers with some eclectic options. I like that it's big with plenty of seating and the ability to order from your phone. Probably my favorite brewery in NOVA.
