This bar was located inside the hotel downstairs hanging out while I was in DC on January 26th of this year. As typical for the area, it was very expensive for the food that I got and the food was a little too artistic for me. I ordered their shredded beef nachos, and I don't know where they got the idea that chips needed to be anything other than corn chips, but they had a weird whole wheat layer of strips in there that were not good and they were very salty. Salty. I also ordered two chicken tacos and the total was $30. Little more than I wanted to spend based on the quality of the food that I got. Honestly, I don't think I would eat here a second time.My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what I expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special whether it was service, food, staff, etc., and a 5 means I was blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing with no offer to correct the experience and a 1-star rating was terrible

An excellent small hotel bar, proudly serving drinks and food for hotel guests and visitors. It's not a very crowded place as far as I can see, only a few patrons on a Sunday night, with plenty of seating at tables and at the bar. Food selection is typical American fare with seasonal specialties.I ordered the chicken tacos and the summer lager, they were pretty good, especially for the price. The staff was friendly, and there was prompt service.
