Orrie was friendly, attentive, and made excellent drinks. She created a welcoming vibe that made the night truly enjoyable. She’s a great bartender, and I definitely recommend Ocean Shack — the food is amazing, and you can’t ask for a better mix of sports and seafood!

Food was great but the seasoning was kind of weak and they didn’t have ample tools to extract the meat from the claws.
Solid local bar. $14 each for fried shrimp and catfish baskets. Good value and definitely straight off the fryer. Happy hour beer was $4 and I recall the normal prices being good for the area. Selection was ok, about 10 taps. Wife always loved the margarita flight. Six or so TVs in and around the bar. Orry has been a solid bartender whenever we’ve been.

Highly recommend the boils. Each comes with your choice of seafood with corn on the cob, potato and additional sides like broccoli if you like. Shrimp was big, juicy, salty. Lobster was perfect.. Casual vibe with bar and sports on tv.

I visited this place on 03/09/25, and the atmosphere and service were nice. However, I am a frequent seafood lover, and I am always looking for a new place to try. The seafood was entirely too salty, and I told them not to put any salt on my food and yet it kept coming out even more salty each time. I told them that I couldn’t eat the shellfish because it was too salty and asked to speak with a manager. The manager came over but didn’t compensate us accordingly. There is no way that seafood should be that salty. I definitely won’t be back!
