Our Mom Eugenia - Shirlington

Given the raving reviews, we were disappointed. I think we may have just hit them on an off day. Asked about if a gyro or similar was available for my kid. Was told momma Eugenia doesn’t serve because gyros are fast food. Was told they have wraps but only on weekdays. Kid was at a loss for options. The tzatziki plate was wonderful. Beet salad was pretty good but over priced. Lentil soup was overly salty and over priced. Fries were over salted. The garlic potato dip with the calamari was an odd pairing for our table of eaters. Asked if they had a different dip available maybe something with some spice. Receive a small cup of hot sauce. Oh well. Hamburger was good and cooked as requested. Service between appetizer and main was long and absent. Everyone was nice. Food was ok. Prices were kinda high.

Food was delicious! We had a lovely meal and the restaurant is super cute. My sister is gluten free and there were plenty of options for her to choose from.

Me and my friend came here for a snack one night. We got the 3 dip sampler. They all were good but the taramasalata was specifically great. She got a galaktoboureko for desert and typically I don't like sweet food but I tried it and it was amazing!

Our first time at OME-Shirlington, and our family enjoyed it greatly. We visited Greece last year and were in the mood for some local greek food for a birthday celebration. We will definitely be back. The food was tasty and the drinks were delightful. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch with a friend dining indoors. The ambiance was very nice and our vegetarian selections were delicious. I did notice however that the meat dishes seemed very expensive 20-40 dollars which looked steep for the value.

First time at this restaurant. Every bite was a dream. I ordered the vegetarian platter. I have no idea how they made these ingredients taste so incredible, but I will definitely be back. No crumbs left.

Food is excellent. Service was poor - no server came for at least 20-30 minutes. There was clearly no manager watching the restaurant and the staff were goofing off and not paying attention to customers. Not a good way to run a dinner service. Unfortunate as the food is so good.

Way too loud. Acoustics need to be adjusted. A lot of dishes clashing at the bar area. Could hardly hear each others between the noise of people and the bar activity. Probably best to sit outside

Absolutely love this place. They are doing it all well. Kevin was our server and he is phenomenal but they take such pride in their service that you will be in good hands no matter what. We got the octopus, fried zucchini slices, branzino, and lamb chops. Unbelievably good on all fronts. This place is a must in all of the DMV, Go!

Great food experience, enhanced by our very excellent server, Ayca! This was our first visit to the Shirlington location, after having had several to Mosaic, one of our favourite restaurants'. This is a top-notch chain!

We were part of a group of 7. Our waiter was fabulous. The food arrived in good time. I had the salmon and asked for asparagus and my husband had the lamb. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had such a wonderful experience at Our Mom Eugenia! My family hosted a dinner for 50 people and the manager and staff were excellent. The food was delicious and plentiful! I highly recommend this excellent restaurant. The food is authentic and the drinks are top notch! I will definitely be back.
