What Happened to the food???
Came in on a Saturday night and I ordered a chicken and shrimp pasta. Pasta took over 20 minutes to be served and by that time the pasta was dry. I also ordered a cheesecake and it took close to 15 minutes to get served. I hardly give out bad reviews but It was a bad experience.

My husband ordered a center cut sirloin and it came folded over like a taco. Then my mother in law asked for A1 sauce and our waitress said they had already put it up for the night. We came in an hour before closing. Really curious of the A1 protocol for closing.

Excellent service! We went here for my husband's birthday. And they gave him a free dessert that was really nice.Everything was really good except his meal. He ordered the Alfredo with steak in it and the steak was really tough and flavorless. I had the alfredo with the chicken and the shrimp , and it was phenomenal. Atmosphere is kind of dull and dark.

We visited on Veteran’s Day. I really want to give a positive review because it’s great they want to support military and veterans. However this night was a terrible experience. The biggest issue is they didn’t have enough staff to accommodate the volume of people who attended the restaurant. We waited about 50 minutes for a seat. To be expected. But then when seated we waited almost 30 minutes before we flagged someone to help us. The rest of the night was a serious nightmare of different wait staff and inconsistent help. Ultimately resulting in a bill that was over $100 for an experience worth about $20. As a military family I appreciate the support for active duty and veterans. But the service was terrible and I felt for this restaurant. They had an opportunity to retain loyal customers but they failed.

Absolutely delicious prime rib (available Friday-Sunday), friendly and attentive service, and our all-time favorite Chocolate Thunder from Down Under to polish off the meal.
Rooting for this well-run Outback location to hold the line while others have sadly closed in Northern Virginia. We’ll be back!

This is my second time in an Outback Steakhouse since 1994? ( they had then a 27 oz?steak, Bethesda MD) I arrived and was seated within 5 minutes. Chase, my waiter advised me on non fried options for sides. He also helped me navigate the menu offerings as far as boneless steak. l ordered a 11 oz sirloin . I asked Alanso the chef to brown both sides and bring it to me still kicking. Extra rare is only way to have steak. 😉! To complete my meal, I chose sweet potato, broccoli steamed with butter, and a Caesar salad. I also requested sautéed mushrooms and sautéed onions . I ordered a Foster's Lager to wet my whistle. Noah, the manager on duty was also kind and attentive that all of my meal was to my expectation. Probably less than 15 minutes my steak arrived. Succulent, tender. Perfect. Seared on both sides, juicy, and red inside. (Many other places ive been refuse to custom cook a steak in this manner, citing health concerns. I feel if im having a steak. It must be extremely rare. Otherwise it is overdone and basically shoe leather . Ruined) Now understand this is a treat for me. When I was young. Steak was a luxury. A rarity. Perhaps had at a wedding. A birth of a child. A graduation. Ice cream also . Because it was only enjoyed so sparingly, you cherished the few opportunities it was served. Ahh the pleasure is indescribable. Even now do I consider it a meal fit for a king. Not to be greddilydevoured. But savored. Each bite. My broccoli was tender, but still retained firm texture. The sautéed mushrooms and onions were to die for. My sweet potato melted in my mouth..Just enough butter to accompany. But not hide the rich flavor. I finished this spectacular dining experience with the chocolate thunder from down under. This meal was not everyday humdrum , boring in any way. My repaste far exceeded my first encounter in Bethesda. When you are young , you have ability to dine with little thought or consequence most anywhere. However, when you are not so young, it narrows your choices . You forgo typical fast food options because of health reasons, or horrible digestive problems . Because of health reasons, Ive given up pork in all forms. Processed, canned food. Fried items . Shrimp, crab, mollusks . Catfish. Lobster. Crayfish. Tuna. French fries. I eat fresh fruits and vegetables, baked fish, chicken, and some beef. Not a lot of beef. So because of this rigid lifestyle change, I am able to breathe more freely. Partake of minutes to stop and smell a flower .Read a book. Engage in rich conversation with a friend. You appreciate more so things taken for granted in your youth. Being days numbered, can I still enjoy the once in a while decadent hell for leather eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we may die meal with so much gusto. Passion ...For should I die tomorrow. There is no guilt. Life is finite. A good steak is one of life's simple pleasures that age is an irrelevant factor. Being not an everyday event, the moderate expenditure is within reach. This establishment has paidparticular attention to the golden rule of any business. Outstanding customer service. For Noah, Chase, and Alanso I present them on a 0 to 10 scale past a 12. For their patience, their 120% commitment to getting the order right the first time. Mr.Jefferson , I award you as a leader a 12. For you have stressed how important details are to the guest. Your skills in educating your employees of this crucial area shine. This is fundamental for a business to become, and remain a sucess. Your example in superlative customer service, and professional kindness are but one reason I will cast my shadow again upon this wonderful place. And only this location as long as I live. There are many other places within 35 miles to order a steak. Few respect , or listen to the wishes of their guests in regards to dietary needs. Nor do they care, to actually to the letter individually cook the steak according to a guests personal preference. This business excells in providing crackerjack personal service.

What can you say except, it's outback!
Probably the most consistent steakhouse on the planet. I've never had a bad meal here. Portion sizes on the salad are overwhelming, but all of the ingredients were fresh. I'm a fan of the prime rib, and I have never been disappointed.

Thank you Alba for great service! Love that their baked potato soup is able to be made vegetarian (without the bacon), and great salad and ranch dressing.
