First time here, wanted to try the coconut bowls they had but sadly were out of stock, I ended up trying the sunset bowl, amazing amazing! the lady who made it did an amazing job stuffing it and gave a very generous amount. As soon as I walked in was greeted immediately and the workers were very polite and super helpful since I wasn’t sure what to get, definitely would come back again.
the picture I added doesn’t justify how packed my bowl was with fruits and everything! I got a size regular :)
Lots of options to choose from. Generous toppings.
The order was 10 minutes late despite being ordered ahead of time and there being hardly any business at the time. It was also wrong in 3 different ways. My girlfriend's bowl should've had granola with her white chocolate and hazelnut drizzles, but she had no granola. My bowl wasn't supposed to have white chocolate at all, and i need gluten-free granola, but was given a bowl with white chocolate and regular granola. I'll suffer gastrointestinal distress, fatigue, and skin conditions for at least a week now, thanks to the nutrient deprivation I'm experiencing from that sudden contamination. Toastique, south block, tropical smoothie, smootie king, and robeks all offer much better quality than palm berries.
This place has good açaí bowls, but customer service needs work. I visited on July 1st, 2025, about 30 minutes before closing. A young woman took my order and was rude. We had a brief misunderstanding about the fruit, which I didn’t even realize was an issue, and I still tipped. While I was waiting, she took another order, made that bowl, and told the next customer it was ready. That customer then asked me if the bowl was mine instead of hers, since she realized I had been waiting longer. I told her no, it wasn’t mine. The worker then looked at me, rolled her eyes, and walked to the back. The young man had to tell me my order was ready. This is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the business. Employees should be trained to provide better face-to-face service, especially when customers can’t see their food being prepared. Highly disappointed.
I absolutely love this place. I go here all the time, my only complaint are the three ladies currently working there. They're quite slow and they didn't blend the Acai properly, it's still frozen. You have mix it manually to get it to a smooth consistency and there was still a chuck of ice in another bowl we ordered.. I'm poking the bottom and it crunches because it's still so frozen. Too bad the people before aren't there anymore, they were amazing! Amazing customer service and they were they fast.
I tried to visit this morning around 9:45am. The doors were locked and no closed sign, and the website said they are open.
I came here with my little sister for to try açaí. Eunice was so nice as to have to outside patio seating cleaned and dried for us to sit and enjoy. They have wifi and music, she even offered to fill up my hydro flask with filtered water. This place is great very clean and very yummy. Fresh mangos and fresh vibes.
So I returned to buy another Dubai bowl and the owner or Manager treating me like I robbed him because I only want the fruit with topping no Açaí! I spent 18 dollars and he’s asking me to prove the purchase from the day before! Apple pay with time stamp and pic of location! What terrible service! I’m never returning to this location!
it was great! i loved the protein bowl it was good. Also the music and vibes of the place was great i have no complaints or regret from driving an hour and a half to try this place! Service was perfect as well!
Palm Berries is a hidden gem and officially my new go-to spot for açaí bowls in Virginia. We stopped in for a quick treat and were seriously impressed. The bowls are super fresh, packed with high-quality ingredients, and beautifully put together. You can taste the difference—the fruit is vibrant, the açaí is smooth and flavorful (not icy or watered down), and the toppings are generous without being overwhelming.
The space itself is bright, clean, and welcoming, with a relaxing vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. The staff was also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the menu and offer great suggestions.
It’s very different from South Block—not just in style, but in overall feel and flavor—and honestly, I like it so much better. Palm Berries feels more personal and fresh, like it was made with care rather than just assembly-line style. Highly, highly recommend checking them out if you’re nearby. You won’t be disappointed!

Stopped by Palm Berries recently for an Açaí bowl to go. I’ve tried multiple açaí spots in the past (south block, playa bowl, pressed juice, etc) and this was my least favorite. When I picked up my food I don’t think any of their employees said one word to me l (and they had to hand it to me). The granola a was basically like powder, the banana was unripe. The bowl was good, but only that.
Smoothie tastes great, and they don't use ice, which often takes up half of such a drink.
Wow! These bowls are unbeatable. The various bases are awesome. They give more fruit, which is cut better than anywhere else. Everything is delicious. I love that they put granola at the bottom as well as on top. This place turns everyone into a superfan.
The bowls were really delightful and fulfilling. This was the snack size. Acai base stayed cold the entire time. The staff were very patient and kind as well. They allowed me to taste the dark chocolate and laughed with me the entire time I tried to eat it.
Great açaí bowls the base acai is a perfect consistency!
