Food is fine but the service is atrocious. They charged me wrong and when I politely brought it up they tried to gaslight me but then after a while rudely gave me in cash the error refund amount without any kind of apology

Perfect location for one stop all shopping and food and shopping experience. Plenty of parking . Grab and go or sit down and enjoy the people traffic and surroundings experience.

I had a very bad experience at this Panda Express. The server, Yong, was extremely rude.

He yelled at the customer in front of me, saying “this side is chicken, that side is beef.” When it was my turn, he sighed repeatedly and acted annoyed like I was ordering too slowly.

The problem is that when standing in line, you can’t actually see the menu until it’s your turn to order.

Yet, even when I was just trying to look at the menu, he gave me bad looks and sighed loudly.

That kind of behavior is unacceptable.

The service here was terrible.

If he doesn’t want to work, he shouldn’t be working.

I used to like Panda Express, but I will never come back to this location again.

At this location they rip off. On 2 separate occasions I was charged incorrectly for an extra entrée. On today's visit 9/12/25 I had a coupon to get 1 free entrée with a 2 entrée combo platter. The lady scanned my coupon and argued with me I'm only get 1 of the 2 entrée for free. That's bad business. I dint argue or get rude I don't have to spend money with these scammers. Potion size was also off. Cheat people out of average tasting food is crazy work.

The Panda & the Pentagon: a Flavorful Feast at Panda Express

We were spoilt for choice at the food court in the Pentagon City Mall, but Panda Express Chinese Kitchen won out, as we don’t eat Chinese food in the U.S. very often.

The mall was heaving (Fri, May 30, 2025) and seemed to be full of (well behaved) teenagers. Service at Panda Express was swift, despite the long line, and we didn’t have time to even consider what we wanted before we were served.

We asked the server to surprise us but he wasn’t having it, saying: “It’s all good!”

We chose:

🍜 Bigger Plate: Chow Mein plus Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and Black Pepper Chicken = $12.00
🍜 Plate: Chow Mein plus Orange Chicken and Black Pepper Steak = $12.00 (inc. $1.50 upcharge for the steak)
🥤 Diet Coke (m) ‎ =  $2.30
🥤 Watermelon Mango refresher (24oz) = $3.20
😢 Tax = $2.95
💰 Total = $32.45

We took seats in the food court and enjoyed our large meals. We were impressed at the reasonable price considering the location and the portion sizes. This was probably too much food for a lunch, but we knew it would see us through the rest of our busy day exploring Arlington National Cemetery.

The fortune cookie messages said: “YOUR LOVE LIFE WILL BE HAPPY AND HARMONIOUS” and “SPEAK FROM THE HEART”, which we have done with this review.

Crap food with and even crappier attitude. The ladies there at 8 on April 1st 2025 only cared about wrapping up the day. They were screaming at each other, didn’t have toothpicks for me to take a sample, they gave me ice in the tiniest cup possible, no hello, no good evening, thank you. Terrible service.

Food is average. The staff aren't very friendly. I would not recommend

Eh, the chow mein was tasty enoigh, but it was 3/4 cabbage and 1/4 noodle. I'd take my money elsewhere next time. Still hungry.

Food is always great at this location. Line was a bit long so it took a while to get my food, but nonetheless a positive experience as always!
